  5. It aint called 'getting your uksc fix' for nothing guys lol
  6. Its all about how you want your EP to look bro Catch you soon! p.s your avvy is immense! Hope there is some blouse busting action when we head over later in the year rofl :P
  7. Project Red EP91 Rebuild Update Just got off the phone to my mechanic there, he's bunged as usual so gotta call him in 2 weeks. I've also decided to order the red samco off ebay as I envisage its gonna take around a month to get my car actually in his garage as he works from home and the whole town uses him. All good things come to those who wait I guess. In the meantime I'm not sure whether to go ahead with the bodywork or refine the itbs...
  8. Thanks for the comments guys @Mart - I had a small bumper before xmas and sadly lost my front splitter. For the cost of replacing it on the current bumper Im going for a different front end. I was also going for some custom bonnet work, but its gonna be more cost effective to get a bonnet already with a scoop recess. Hence a complete front end is going to work out better for me as Im going for a total EP package.
  9. Cheers Wallace Im really glad it arrived too. Car is being so strangled on the standard engine so I really want to get things underway asap. Tried getting in contact with my mechanic but no luck, so must have been one of those days. Have got someone sorted to fit my lsd etc so thats that sorted, just need the gbox out. Will update any developments as they arise.
  10. Congrats on the new motor Lew. Am really proud that you decided to stay with the EP family. Havent seen you on msn much but just wanna say all the best with this project bro. Talk soon
  11. Pesky kids, ruining our insomnia thread lol. Now who wants to be a zombie???
  12. Some standalones are actually competitively priced for the base unit itself compared to say the ultimate, its just the installation and specialist tuning required also.
  13. Check here and knock yourself out Emanage The emanage ultimate is Chrome, not black. I have one sitting here. Joz
  14. They are the alternative Asda I emailed them and they said it will take one month to make and get to me.
  15. Cheers Nath! Yea its new old stock from the depths of Rick's lair lol. Couldnt say no to a n/a fitment quaife could I It doesnt matter how it looks on the outside, as long it does the job on the inside Gonna be monday til I can speak with my mechanic. All being well and he can fit me in, I can then organise someone to rebuild my lsd. Im on the hunt for some genuine Red Samco rad hoses so anyone know of someplace with them in stock, please let me know
  16. ^^! He wishes Thanks for the support everyone. Will keep you updated on developments.
  17. Project Red EP91 Picture Update - QUAIFE ATB (Automatic Torque Biasing) Differential
  18. I'll really miss the old front end... If anyone wants the front bumper (minus the front splitter) feel free to make me a reasonable offer
  19. Thanks for the kind and supportive comments guys Today my prayers were answered and after speaking of the devil, god delivered to me QUAIFE!!! Nice to hear from you Phil, the horns are great but I dont get to use them much lol. As for CH, Rock On!!! nuff said Everything is new to me with the itbs etc but hopefully I can get up to speed with the rebuild now I have all the members of the symphony ready. Im in good hands tuning wise Tom, there's an itb specialist a bit further from me as well as a quickly establishing emanage tuner who will base tune my 5EFHE and hopefully further. So there are Plans A + B My enthusiasm for everything UKSC is powered by the progress of my EP so the real fun is about to start and my project focus is back. Its just the dry patches that really get me down, but now it's all full speed ahead, just how I like it. So today I'll finally order the diff bearings and seals from Sheekey and book my mechanic in, I have a fair idea who can fit my lsd too as my mechanic (who is decent with engines) won't touch my diff lol. All the best for 2009 All. Hope we can all realise a small part of our dreams this year. Jozinobi
  20. Sorry I wasnt on msn to reply earlier bro but a BIG CONGRATS! Welcome to the real world All the best for your motoring years ahead of you.
  21. Get a PS3 damn insomniacs... hang on... B)
  22. The 5EFHE rebuild first Ste mate. The lsd needs to arrive so I can get the new drivetrain assembled at the same time the engine is out.
  23. All I wanted for christmas was my LSD... Everything is on hold until this arrives
  24. Chill guys You want to try planting a 5E with a full system and exhaust manifold such as the obx, then you'd really have a mini vtec effect on your hands Power actually kicks in properly after a certain rev range. Ask cheezeitthedog
