Project Red EP91 5EFHE Rebuild Update Red Samco Coolant hoses arrived! Gearbox left up with my tuner for lsd work which will start beginning of next week. Bottom end started on - 5EFHE pistons all cleaned up. The inside of the block was spotless. Engine bits taken off for respraying i.e strut brace ends and brackets, rocker cover etc. No cam battery = no pics :surrender:

Project Red EP91 5EFHE Rebuild Update UK 5EFE Torque Settings acquired from Toyota. They are the same as the FTE. Leather gaiter and handbrake set bought. Red Samco Coolant hoses finally on their way! Should have news on the gearbox tonight.

So sort out the postage between you guys and get me Starbus's address and I'll get this badboy weighed at the post office. First class would be best. Peace.

You just need a lot of luck MJwan and make the right moves. I normally have a hell of a time playing one on one but I got lucky this time, the guy beat himself (not literally) It also helps that you like cards and enjoy the game. Bit of a pickle with all the torque settings my mechanic needs as I dont have access to a UK 5e manual however I called Toyota and they should have something to photocopy for me by tomorrow so fingers crossed as it would save some hassle.

Cheers Phil bro! Some good news today. The engine has already been taken out and the gearbox will be out by tommorrow evening. That just leaves me to lift the gearbox and take it to the guy who is installing my Quaife I also need to get the correct torque settings for a few things so thats my homework. Boy things are moving fast... Off to a nice pub for real poker and cider at 7.30!!! Fark

Its quite hard to find one in decent condition also. You will also need the metal fitting bracket, and the plastic bracket that is attached to the armrest itself as sometimes it is missing or broken off. You might not get either bracket so in hindsight a full kit is quite rare in its entireity.
