Project Red EP91 5EFHE Rebuild Update Engine is in! Few small bits to sort then it will be start up time! Detailing coming soon. Most importantly she needs to get running first. Still more work to be done... -
Congrats to both you and Heather Graeme man! Lots of memorable times ahead ;) All the best! Joz

That is such an awesome ACIS tutorial. Riko tells it like it is Asad, it was purely made to run with the 5E bottom end which produces that extra torque that the 4EFE simply doesnt have. Im sure you will be able to find a different solution to your n/a intake quest. Good luck.

I'd try and do some more research to get a better of what you want to achieve etc. You sound quite unsure of what you are after. Do not forget an engine swap will change your insurance premium too so consider that as well as labour costs more so with the FTE for possible rewiring etc. There is lots of info on our site so please feel free to take a browse or do a search. Good luck.

Thats a good way to put it man ;) I think I qualify...

Ooooh the old jokes return Come to Japan with me and Enzo... ;) They are pretty serious on ID tho

Custom reground to your own spec. Piper Cams Cams alone will not make much difference and they will more than likely need a reshim so more costs. Joz

No matter how small the subject its still falls under the technical category 'braking' Love. We don't want this type of thing in general as it does not apply. Please use a proper title and subtitle next time. Etiquette and rules apply on this forum. Not having a go, just I feel you are misunderstanding what is technical and what is general/ep lifestyle/offtopic. Just because it is posted in technical you can still talk about the subject generally. Thats why the tech section is there, for all discussions relating to the categories provided. Thanks Joz

Hey Kev I have a snap off boss kit myself. Its a pretty much standard length but Im sure there are different sizes you can get if you were really after one a bit thinner. There are two general purposes for using one in our EPs I find. #1 - Security #2 - Bring the wheel closer to the driver I find that it is a pretty good security measure but of course along with other forms of security. As for the feel of having the snap of boss kit I find the steering is a little too responsive and the wheel itself is not as physically stable when on the snap off compared to the oem wheel or just on the

My sincere thoughts go out to James to make a full recovery. Its a travesty to see his car like that after all the hard work but its a true and shocking indication of what can happen. The EP91 has a very bad crash rating which is the tradeoff for its power to weight ratio. Im also glad Craig is ok. Godspeed to you both.

Welcome to the site jonnymac. We have lots of info in the EP Technical section. Take a look in there and you'll be sure to find some answers. Hope you enjoy the car and the site. Joz

Put the anti lift kit as the next item on the list. Out of all the braces the c pillar does the least strengthening/flex reducing for the rear. It is the least essential so something to consider if you are on a budget. The more handling mods you have the harder it is to feel a difference with each new addition. Good luck finding your own ideal setup.
