  1. Turn it Anti Clockwise mate. If its not budging its could most likely stuck or cross threaded. Should normally be no problem unscrewing it by hand. Best method is elbow grease Joz
  2. Happy Birthday Al!!! April B'days are for winners! Joz
  3. Thanks Si. At the end of the day bro, its not a race or competition. I just want to get everything sorted so this EP can run at its full potential. Hope you get sorted soon too. Joz
  4. Had the emanage ultimate open tonight to check the jumper settings. They all seem right to me but have asked my tuner to be double sure. Joz
  5. Me too bro! Im using Ultimate not Blue afaik blue doesnt have the launch control feature.
  6. Congrats on the new look bro. A huge step in the styling department for your EP. Has totally transformed your car, far more aggressive. Hope it gives your project renewed enthusiasm. Keep up the nice work. Joz
  7. Threads merged to keep all feedback in one topic.
  8. Project Red EP91 5EFHE Tuning Stage Update Yes you read right from Rebuild Stage > Tuning Stage I took the Red EP to m16chris on tuesday to get a base tune and to make sure the emanage is working properly. It powered up fine but due to being a slight older model it had issues with holding the afr at idle when set by the emanage. The older models are also less compatible with new software features hence the additional adaptors and harnesses. We did a range of tests and sorted a very small wiring issue (bad contact). Launch control works fine. It was obvious that the emanage would nee
  9. Im loving the new look and layout, one reason is because I have a screen + resolution wide enough. Can see the mixed feelings but Im sure enzo will be tweaking it all to suit. It has a more 'dark side' feel to it and is pretty compact and streamlined with the main site. As for the extra space on the left Im sure we can make use of it. Yes the gradient isnt long enough but only those with a sharp eye will notice. It should be easily changed. Am also liking life without the banner although we could have some EPs lurking faintly in the background. my 2p Keep up the nice work Geo. Joz
  10. Just let the good times roll :P
  11. Big Congrats Ste man! Now the real test begins. Drive safe and enjoy many good years of motoring bud. Hopefully now everything can really start moving forward for you. Joz
  12. FAIL bro!!! And you still didnt tell me anything lol... Cant wait to see this Kermitman!
  13. 500 Mile Oil Change Schedule Started at 45,230 45,310 - Sorted 45,450 - Miles met, changing oil and filter tommorow. 45,730 - Emanage time EP will be going to the bodyshop after easter. Joz
  14. New plate looking purposeful Idman. Congrats on getting your hands on that brake kit, you are gonna love the twins Keep up the nice work as usual. Joz
  15. Thanks for the update Bourke. All the very best with your recovery mate. Glad you will be living to fight another day and are being positive about everything. Peace Joz
  16. Cheers Lew I have to agree mate, feels like you are in the time attack everytime you go for a drive. Some of the accessories have less power too, the heater is not as powerful as before but still works. The revs rise and drop a bit faster for me due to lightened flywheel and underdrive crank pulley so she stalls easy lol. Something Im gonna have to get used to in traffic... Off to get the oil changed later on. Soooo looking forward to the emanage base tune mate. Will get pics up when she is back from the bodyshop ;) Viewing as intended
  17. Any more offensive or snidey comments will not be tolerated people and will be effectively dealt with. Please keep on topic. This is a welcome thread. Its not a good example for the site and does not do you or anyone any favours newbies especially. Have some respect for other members and their wishes. Remember this is your forum, it is what you make of it.
  18. Dear Members It gives me great pleasure to announce that WallaceGlanza (Wallace) has been added to the UKSC Team. With the increased technical traffic from 4EFTE owners lately there has been a need for more assistance in that forum area. With myself being more specialised in the N/A way of things it is only right to also have someone specialised in Turbo also. Hence I have decided to make him a joint leader of EP Technical to help with the EP Technical forum in general. Having been impressed with Wallace's knowledge and willingness to help not just on this forum but other forums I decided
  19. Best to wear a painters mask or something similar to avoid inhaling that shit. Moved to right section.
  20. Cheers chaps I have been bolting things on for way too long so the emanage base tune is going to really sort her out. I have decided to stick with the TRD quickshift but utilise the TC gear cable bushings. She should be going into the bodyshop just before easter. Joz
  21. Thanks for the update on Project Badger Sport Phil I havent the foggiest what this big announcement is so I will wait with anticipation. Will be awesome to have you back on uksc dude. Talk soon Joz
  22. Its still too early to make any judgements guys, have only been at 4k revs!!! I don't have the itbs on yet which would be such a bad idea on a fresh engine. It needs running in first. As for the lsd it has been fine so far but I will watch myself. Will keep you all updated. Joz
  23. You send your old ones in and they will do the regrind work according to the spec you want. Just because the car/engine is not listed, it doesnt mean they cant create cams for you.
  24. Thats the first 50 odd miles covered so she is all ready for the first oil change. Have been keeping her at 4k revs max with varied driving, some half and wot. The paddle clutch is hard to get to used to as the biting point is so small but is very responsive. The biggest difference I've felt so far is the LSD, it makes cornering a cinch with bodyroll, oversteer etc a thing of the past. Still some way to go but I should have her booked into the bodyshop soon to get her makeover. Im going to change the oil at 200 then 500 miles, then it will be time for emanage. The 4efe ecu accepted the 5
