To be honest its not too bad its just like waiting a laggy turbo ;) the plan was to keep it for a while then respray it and sell it but im missing the glanza, so im gona paint the teg at christmas and sell it on then use the money to get the glanza fixed

no dont cut it off, your old exhaust should have a rubber mount that fits in the rectangular hole at the top, take it off and put it on your new exhaust

well ive never took one off a starlet before but they all tend to be the same, there will b bolts along the top under the bonnet, u will have to free off the bumper corner and there will prob b a bolt behind it, need to take the indicator off, there will prob be a bolt behind the door at the top, another at the bottom of the cill, there will prob b clips and screws around the arch too

as u know i just got mine the other week but i must say they handle amazing compared to the glanza, u might miss boost but when vtec kicks it it sounds amazing. if u do decide u dont like it, they hold there value so you would prob get back what u payed for it. good luck with it and dont forget to get pics up

cheers Gary, well it didnt look to good the other night so just aswell it was dark yeah i was thinking maybe 16s or something but im not wanting to go modifying it yeah they are a bit expensive. yeah just clean it up, was maybe going to give it a full respray in my work but tbh the paint polished up really good so im just gona paint the bumpers and front lip. dont think it has a standard ecu or something because it revs to 9500

hey guys, thought id put up pics of the new car, got it lastweek. Got to say the handling is amazing compaired to the glanza, its like the things on rails the interior looks and feels so much better built than the v too, the seats are so comfy. Got it pritty cheap and the previous owners didnt really look after it, so it needs a few bits done to it like front and back bumpers painted, the front splitter needs painted and put on also needs a good service witch ill be doing sometime next week, other than that its seems solid and is going great. I gave it a much needed clean and polish, paint work looked matte white lol, it came up really well and its nice and shiny now

ok mate, well tell me why toyota say u need to do it? its ment to tension the inlet cam gear. i forgot to put it in when i put my cams in and it was noisy, took the cams out again, put the service bolt in (with great difficulty lol) put the cam in and it was fine. Personally i wouldnt leave it un tentioned.

Greddy td05s have diffrent flanges to the scoob td05/04s

did u put the service bolt in the cam gear when u took the cams out? if not you'll have to put one in or u will have a rattley head.
