none of the systems are 3" u need to go custom for a 3" system like Lew says a 3" system wouldnt bolt to the downpipe, when i was looking it was around £600 - £700 for one so ended up making one myself!
-
As long as its insured as a Glanza V I wouldn't worry about the logbook tbh!
-
watch out for rusty rear arches and sills, there really bad
-
one of the cams has 2 dots side by side and the other has 1 dot, you just need to line them up, did you put a service bolt in the inlet cam before you took it out?
-
Ive got both and would have the ep3 over the glanza as a daily driver, its a lot more comfy, less rattles, drives better, better engine, all imo, but sounds like you have you're heart set on another starlet!

I love hitting the limiter
-
if you dress as a woman, I have 5 years no claims and I'm 26 and live in one of the safest places in the UK and my cheapest quote on a standard glanza is £1000
I think your looking in the wrong places for insurance, I was just over £600 to insure 400 bhp with all mods declared (not gona list them cause theres too many) with sky insurance.

The torque settings should of came with the bolts also its different torque setting if using oil rather than arp grease for lube
-
There's no point spending a lot of money on one if you're only gona use it a few times, I bought the draper one for when i was building my engine and it worked perfrct!

take the fuel feed pipe off the fuel rail and get someone to turn it over and see if fuel come out, use something to catch the fuel.
-
I'm running the WMS 4 pots with ds2500 pads, cant fault them, they were fantastic on track!
-
I found it pretty easy tbh

Do you know where abouts it was getting work done ?
I stay in Stirling and am looking for decent mappers without going miles.
Or was it not that kinda work getting done ?

put the rear seats back in?

Where did you get the D1 nuts from Ryan? I wouldn't like to think the genuine ones would do that if torqued correctly at regular intervals. I think it's more people only notice they/any bolts are loose when you see your wheel trying to make a break for freedom lol
Honestly i cant remember, wasn't ebay as i wanted to avoid cheap copies, yeah i did torque mine, i only noticed mine were loose because i have my wheels on and off a lot, at first i thought it was my fault for not tighten the nuts up but it kept happening so just binned them.
this was about 2 3 years ago so maybe they are better now?
-
I had d1 nuts, they ended up stripping and kept coming lose, ended up buying these, look the same but there steel also i think u get different colours aswell
