Funny!! I cant be arsed to put my name at the end of every post! Bugger that.
-
It does look good. That orange GT is ok, not my style but still nice all the same.
-
Do any of you guys ever get this? Got it this week, and for the first time since I have had it it actually has a few Starlets Turbs in there. Theres a sexy as fook GT, which has been changed to 4WD and has a 1499cc engine. Looks nice. Has anyone here ever done a engine swap in their Starlet?
-
I have seen a few for more than that price. It does seem a fair price and common for these cars. Simply because they are so rare. I would frikken love one of these!
-
Is he on here? Or just TGTT. Just wondered whether he would reply or not. Seems strange, for someone who seems well known to rip someone off. He may literally be innocent and not have realised. Or he knows and thought he would get away with it.

I just have to ask, does everyone assume that a Glanza owner is a bloke unless their username is a girls name? I ask this question, for one reason only. Because, every person that replies to my posts on here seem to call me one of the following: * Guy * Dude * Man * Geezer So I just want to make you all aware, I am in fact a female! Thus has been stated on my sig! Does any other females have this problem on forums??

Which is the main reason I drive with my doors locked when I am on my own!
-
I HATE people who use fog lights when its not even foggy! Especially when its during the day, it frekkin blinds me!

Pass Plus does actually have a time limit in which you need to do it after you have passed your test, just so you are aware. I done mine a month after I passed me test, I didnt benefit one bit. The day I passed my test I went straight on the Bypass and motorways and taught my self how to handle them. Although I was always a confident driver anyways. It cost me £140. And I was insured through NU and they don't take Pass Plus so I lost £140 for nothing. Its always best to check with your insurer before doing it, its not worth it otherwise. Josie - My best advice to you, is do

I am 21. Female. 2 ncb. Insured through Elephant.co.uk. Although in Jan I am going to look around for cheaper still, as I know they aren't the cheapest. Oh and I pay £700.
-
Oh yeah I agree with that point. They wouldn't ever know you had one unless they searched your car. Same as having alcohol opened in the car, unless they saw it they coudlnt do anything

Its is completeley illegal to park on those lines, whether its to drop someone off or park. The only people allowed to park there and get away with it are disabled badge holders. Just accept the charge, they could have you done for wasting police and court time at the same time and then you would have to pay court fee's
-
Not for me its not I am afraid. But thats my opinion. I have seen an incident where a police officer quoted a friend that he was absolutly fine to drive around with his neons on on his car. That night he was fined by another officer, although he confirmed the police officer told him it was ok and gave them the officers name. They told him its no proof!
-
Simply because a police officer can THINK anything is true, but actually giving you FACTS and proof of what he told you is another thing. I very much doubt he has a book that tells him the rule of flares from Imported cars! So therefore he is more than likely going by what he thinks. I may be wrong. Only proof that will prove this is a confirmation in writing. Also...why aren't they supplied in other cars from the UK???? Be good to get an actual answer!

Who wants a slap first?? Cheeky buggers! P.S. And just for your information, I never struggle!
-
Yes I use my Hi-Low button. Simply because I use my car everyday and see no need to drive everywhere in Hi Boost. Wasting petrol that is expensive enough as it is!
-
See, thats the thing. Atleast you have a good excuse...me I have none!
-
That is crazy! That dude must of absolutly loved his Nintendo NES! I bet his friends were pure jealous of the amount of games he had! Amazing.
-
As above. I would expect, even if what the PC said was correct, this would be assosicated with GT Imports only. As they come with them as standard. If you drive any car that doesn't have them as standard, then I am sure it would be classed as illegal.
-
I expect it could get very annoying after a while. Besides, if people don't want them they can just bloke the email address. Some of those are quite funny though!
-
Not yet......he he. I can use it as much as I like during lunch hours, but shouldn't use it when I am off lunch...although I do sometimes!
-
Minxy is right. There's no point in getting quotes for standard if your going to have mods on it. 1. Its not worth getting caught driving with nothing declared (And trust me, the police can check this when driving behind you, my mate got caught out by it) 2. If you get quotes for a standard one, but then decide you want mods some insurers won't insure modifications - so you would then be back at square one.
-
Well you learn something new everyday. Although I personally wouldn't want one in my car.
-
Galliano is right, you would get more out of it if you took them off and sold them seperatley by the sounds of this post, and the fact they seem hard as a hard on to get them! Although, I wouldn't personally pay that amount if you aren't going to actually use them. IMO.
