As above. When your provisional, you have to have someone else with you over 21 who is also insured. And therefore will be more responsible so your insurance would be cheaper.

That does happen occasionally, same with people's houses being burgled. Our house was burgled 10years ago now, and we called the police whilst it was happening but they didnt turn up for 4 hours!

I was watching something on TV the other day, where the Police were checking through containers that were being sent abroad. And they found a few rangeys that were stolen where they were trying to smuggle them!

My turn. About 19months ago now, I had a Fiesta Xr2i. I know, chav car, but I loved it. I was only 19 and loved my 1.6, but still wanted something quicker and newer. Plus my xr2i was slowly becoming a bunny hopper and had a few running problems. So when I was introduced to a Jap car club by my friend, who had just brought an Evo3, I really wanted something Jap. But being the person I am, I wanted something different to what every one else had. I didnt think I would find anything, but kept looking through Jap import car dealers. At the time one of my american friends was looking for a Starlet GT. He had shown me a picture and I thought it looked ok but nothing special, so when he told me it was a 1.3 turbo I was amazed. Then one day, when looking through Torque of Keighley's cars I came across this Glanza. And I fell in love with it there and then. I had to have it. So, I called them and asked them about it and asked whether they would take PX with my Fiesta and they said yes! So I went up to Leeds that Saturday and took it there and then. I was so lucky, because I then had 2 different people tell me over TGTT forum that they were going to get the car the following day! So thats my story!

LOL...this is why I was wondering how old you were? £2500 is a hell of lot, even with only being 20 with no ncb. Mines £700 21 with 2 ncb. But still is shouldnt be triple that for not having any ncb. The first thing to do, is go on comparison sites and get whatever the cheapest quote it, like Gocompare.com / moneysupermarket / confused.com / tesco'scompare. Then, in the back of most car mags are details of insurers that specify in jap imports and modified cars. Alot of these will be Brokers rather than Insurers, which are always cheaper. Have you tried Performacedirect?

I love how much people hate that place, yet they still sell really well! I got mine from Torque of Keighley which is ran by the same family and only had one problem with mine, which was spark plugs. They changed them for me there and then. My partner got his Evo3 for Keighley and the only issue he had was again spark plugs needed changing. Otherwise he had no problems. I personally wouldnt spray your car pink Josie, its not worth the money in my opinion. As said, it could end up looking chav-arse. Mines black, and once polished has a glitter sparkle to it anyways. (When I clean it that is!)

Like it! The colour is really nice, and the Carbon bits set it off nicely. Just a shame its not a real Glanza!

I personally wouldn't ever waste my money putting VPower in any N/A car. I put VPower in my Glanza, simply because it runs sh*te on anything else. I tried BP stuff and it makes my car run sh*te.

Yup, all look the same. There ok, but I could think of alot nicer ones.
