Well surely thats worth something, and if you have £3800 and part ex with your fiesta you should have loads left over and will get something decent from that, When i got mine it was up for £5000, I part ex'd my fiesta xr2i H reg bag o'crap and paid £3700. It was a bargain considering the head gasket was just about dead! If you were interested in mine for instance, and I was up for selling, I would take your fiesta for part ex then cash.

Basically, he brought me a new FMIC for xmas, and its about time I fitted it. But, how or where would I find details on what piping I need? And also, where can I find how details on how to fit it? Any help is much appreciated Thanks

Can I ask, what car do you have at the moment?
-
I feel old now!

I see no point in slamming a 4x4. No point at all. But.....I do like the machine...very nice colour and it does look well looked after. My mate brought one, and cut the roof off and took it off roading....crazy dude (american)..was soo funny watching the videos, but also quite dangerous!

Thats well bloody clean! I like! Looking forward to seeing it with a carbon bonnet too!
-
Im really impressed! Just read the thread right through, and I have to say its really good to see some one so young doing so much hard work on a car, although your not old enough to drive for a while yet. But then, I suppose you can make a bit of money from this, especially as you paid next to nothing for it, and have sourced or made cheap parts yourself. It looks clean as hell too. You must be quite proud of your self for the hard work you have done!! The only thing I would say that I dont like, is the exhaust. But thats just my opinion. Good work! Look forward to seeing any new project

Well then she cant do fek all now. I used to work doing motor claims, and her insurers will only pay out if they know she was at fault for definate. Plus, you cannot prove whiplash, therefore she cannot prove that you didnt have it or when you got it. I had whiplash from an accident, and got £1700. You can even get whiplash at a bump less then 5mph.

I have to admit, that I watched it last night, purely to see if it looks like it is going to be good this year. People that went in were either, 'I am hot, I am brainy, I love me, and me and me. Oh and me. ' or 'I love world peace' or 'I love cookies' The only person that I think will win, is the blind man....purely for sympathy really. The black girls that went in both wearing purple dress will be out in the first 2 weeks!!

I hate text talk too, I never use it on my phone let alone on forums. Its just annoying. My cousins uses it all the time though, shes like " Lo gawjis wubu2 l8ly? " ....it takes me longer to write back asking what the fik she means then it does for her to write in normal English!

Only Glanza's have that hub, other models are different I spent 2 months with my car off the road searching for a hub for mine!
-
I am 21. I cant believe how young everyone is! I thought most people on here were 24 plus.......not 15!
-
Yup as stated, I thought the show as a whole was rubbish. No decent amount of cars, no decent amount of trade stands, and the food was way over priced!! Rip off!! I wouldnt go to it again.
-
Oh yeah of course they do. My partner has an evo 3, and when he got it, he called up his insurers to swap from his old car, and clearly stated that it was the 3 model. When he got through his insurance certificate, it stated evo 4. When he phoned them to tell him, they told him they couldnt insure it! So he then had to fork out to change insurers.
-
I know, it was sexy as hell!
-
Oh yeah, thats not my point. My point is - if you dont report it to your insurers, then your insurance is void. But I think people should delcare it, its more hassle in the long if you got caught.
-
That seems to be your feelings towards every male on this forum, from what I have seen! ;)

Smaller wheels!! ....But other wise, tidy!!

Well from my experience, or my friends it is. Her's was on her VRD, but she hadnt told her insurers. So therefore, the police pulled her for it. When you apply for insurance, it asks if any modifications are done to the car from standard...a re-spray is classed as a mod, therefore you have to tell them.

I understand that it should let the light through, but I think its unnecessary for the police to have to take them off there and then. Just making a pigs ear (excuse the pun) of it. The should give you a producer for 7 days to allow you to get them removed correctly. -
That part about the insurers not needing to know, is incorrect. My friend had a respray done on her fiesta a while back, police pulled her over and told her that the car was registered as black. But the car wasnt. They gave her a producer, and 14 days to notify the insurers and take the producer back to them.

Aha, now I see!! I personally didnt think that having a colour change made a difference.
