  1. Hi guys,

    Don't know if this happened to one of you, but i was driving to work today, all of a sudden "Check Engine Light" starts flashing and "RPM" gauge starts going up and down like crazy.

    Before today if i put down a street race and after that come to a stop or at the lights it will "Idle" very low or turn off on it's own and takes time to turn back on.

    can one of you guys let me know what the problem could be?

    I Just Got Me, Gizzmo Ms-2 installed it turning on and everthing but i have a bit of an issue and wanted 2 know if u guys know about it.



    Do you guys know @ what volt or setting i would need to put the Gizzmo ms-2 so the car won't hit FC?

  3. could also be valve guides or valve stem seals.

    Is it loosing any oil or water at all?

    Maybe worth doing a compression test too.

    Uhm from what i know if it stays idle it would begin smoking but it didn't and i've been thru that just drive around and stop and leave it idle it would begin but his does not do it so i believe 2 that it would be the turbo.

    Anyone else?

    My Cousin Just Got His 1997 Glanza Stock We Have Upgraded It With FPR, Uprated Fuel Pump, Adjustable Actuator.


    Did Some Actuator Tuning But He Doesn't Have A Boost Gauge(On It's Way While We Speaking) So I Had The Chance To Put It so he can push it and drive normally with it so the car was pushing fine no idea what kind of boost but nice high boost in gear 1,2,3 and in 4th gear pushes good but hits Fuel cut @ 6000rpm was ok.



    When i get the chance i'll upload the first race he won with all that.



    Last weekend we went to put a straight exhaust pipe with no restriction from downpipe till the back of the car nice sound and everything but i noticed when driving by driving i mean day driven no pushing, when slowing down meaning just taking your foot from the gas the car lets a bit of white smoke off, but putting his foot back on the gas it goes away.



    By what i know when pushing if it smokes it would be the turbo but while slowing i have no idea right now what it could by is there someone that would have been thru the same thing or someone that knows about it?



    Need some advice so we know what 2 do.

Thanks i did it the same way yesterday but i'm going to try it again to day, i'll try sending pictures so you can c what i did and i'll send a video so u can hear what my engine does, cause it try to start but when u hear it does it turns back off so i don't know what else to do right now but as soon as i get hoem i'll try it out.



    If there is someone else that know another way or some else to do please let me know.

  6. Just got home went thru the wires connected them like it is showed on the picture but it doesn't start and as soon as I take them all off the car starts perfectly, now I'm really stuck with it can you guys give me some advice on what 2 do?

    I have the MSD SCI with the msd blaster ss coil can you guys send me a wire diagram or some on how 2 connect the wires together so my car can start?

  7. You having problems with the trigger pick up?

    I was confused about the white wire but i was doing some research and i found this so i think i'm on the right path.

    Cause i have on that says put the "Red wire" to "Original Coil + wire" and nothing else so i was thinking what do i need to do with the "White wire" that is left.

    and about the "Original Coil - wire"

    But now i found this pic i think i have the solution for my problem.

I finally had the chance to work on my car and do some upgrades and fine tuning fixing couple of things but i was wondering isn't there someone the forum who hasi already installed an msd component on there car and that they can share the info with us and or me, cause i tried to install it like it is basically but i'm still doubting about 1 or 2 of the wires.



    Does anybody know how 2 install it on our cars, do you know something about it turbo Grant?

  9. did you reset the EBC after changing the wastegate etc?

    nothing worse than a boost controller telling you you're doing say 1 bar and its actually miss calibrated and pushing higher.

    do you have a mechanical boost gauge to support whats going on?

    The EBC i have the HDI EBC.

    And akyakapotter i do have a cracked turbo but it isn't that cracked but imma gonna try it out with the new one to c what is really going on or i'll b trying out a stock actuator and put mi boost controller on it and c what the deal is.
