  1. when you up to a standalone ecu you will quickly fine that the starlet ignition doesn't allow you to have the biggest bang. Switching to a more up to date and robust coil per cylinder system allows you to further utilise other features on your ecu. Put it this way; there is no way the oem system can cope with aggressive launch control, traction control, fuel stop go, 2 cylinder idle, etc. These are some of the latest additions in aftermarket ecu development. The ecu I'm currently using now... isnt even available to buy as a tuner or trader.

  11. I have always stated that ET20 is the best solution if you can find a good set. im running 16x8 ET20, the front im running 225 40's which doesnt rub at all, on the rears im running 205 40's which after professional arch rolling only rubs on hard cornering which will be solved by the addition of a rear ARB. An option would be to invest in some springs for the coilovers which hand a higher spring rating than 5F & 4R
  12. Correct.... Power Enterprise didnt make a 5e spec cambelt, all of us are using oem belts.

    Shutter Island

Watched this film last night, havent seen a film that good in awhile defo worth the watch. The blues song at the end was very moving. 6 out of 5 star film in my opinion, might watch it again tonight. Sky player is showing it, so watched it on the xbox.
  14. Lol at some of the comments, it really isnt that bad a deal going "hellaflush". Its obvious that some have taken the quick trial and error and got it wrong. The choice of wheel fitment/offset depents on how yo want it to fit. For instance, indrees opt'd for 16x8 et10 wheels which results look great and are slightly further out than my setup so to speak. Which is the reason why his choice of tires are 195 45 r16, it'll make the car look great and stretch may be enough to clear after a rear arch roll. My setup being 16x8 ET20 leaves the rim closer to the coilover, but not as stuck out as his. My

  19. Well after yesterdays discussion about putting the glanza to rest over the winter while using a second car, i decided to put thought to action. here are a couple pics i took before retiring here to the garage. Hopefully i can get some more work done to her over the holidays, thats if i can get enough uni coursework out the way. Ive had parts sitting her ready to go on, but uni work just gets in the way. For all those that are at uni or are planning to go in the future, heres some advice; enjoy your first and second year as the final year is a heavy fat cunt (no time to play).Over the wint
  20. Ive been scanning throw the interweb looking for a set of locking wheel nuts to protect my exclusive wheels from potential theft, but i cant seem to find any that fit my requirements . Now i have the lugnuts that i wanted; which are 12x1.5 by 5mm/1.935inch forged anodized green that fit the glanza perfectly, but no one seems to do locking wheel nuts in the above size. ive used Mcgards previously with my older wheel, but dont best fit my new wheels; but not even Mcgards have a set of 4 locking wheel nuts that fit the above thread size/length. could someone point my red shiny slippers on to th
