  1. Mine...might take the resonator off tho?......^^ yup air box wins imo + TRD filter is alot thicker than the k+n i have
  2. Think love was referring to what i had said?.....most people agree? that stock air box + uprated panel filter = win for an N/A i do anyway...dont know how id cope with the fuel bill if i had induction kit when i occasionally get gas happy
  3. Also as for the resonator it can be removed....the LHS starlet has it removed as the brake fluid reservoir is directly below it....see
  4. It`s quite noticeable in mine with the k+n....rick wants to shotgun in mine so mabe we can try make the vid?
  5. Steady now ^^ Its got alot to do with the filter aswell...i fitted one to ricks we didn`t notice anything hmmm mabe thats because were to busy talking while chasing batman? (shit ridden cone filter) Hes getting a trd panel now so should get a decent growl from it
  6. My opinion, You like them and are in a rush for cheap, new look wheels?...get them everyone in the world knows the score with them and how they break on track, they can be broke on the road too in certain situations. Not in a rush, but would have wanted a copied design in rota from the big brands?.....shop around the wheels dont need to come off jap auctions (albeit there may have be good deals had in the past no trader is willing to bring them in due the yen-pound issue) theres loads of cheap stuff out there, Go on to other forums who have the same fitment of wheel and have a look around, even ebay may have some decent wheels they just have to be found. My 2 pence...
  7. Its just 3 round plastic screw type things? and as for bulb pull the holder out and have a look....
  8. Lol its all ideas i wanted to do but...i have made my choices for the future 0.o hes got a green one me likes...i`d get the black ones or the British racing green as it resembles our car colour nicely http://www.samcosport.com/uk/available_colours.asp
  9. Lol you can also use this as an excuse to replace the hoses with sexy samco ones....
  10. Its just a precaution buddy, if anything kicks up later then you know its defo the water pump/belt
  11. Seems like the best thing to do first....i`d replace the thremostat while your there (cheap as chips and saves headache later if other problems arise). Flush everything rad, coolant reserve, hoses the lot....then top up with decent coolant. Good luck let us know how you get on i `ve got that to do aswell not in a hurry mine likes to burn my face off when its at temp
  12. Whats the temp gauge like? could be a blockage in the system coolant condition?....it can only be the dials if you turn them and you dont hear the noise of it switching + dont feel it diverting air.
  13. The majority of the parts there are avaliable from other places....but i would buy the Gen fuel filter imo way better than any old cheapo one from motorfactors (i`ve got one waiting to go on im going to cut the old one open to see the condition inside after 75k ), rocker cover stuff. the tensioner + idler dont really need doing unless they are making noise. Timing belt - Gates (2nd best imo) Plugs- NGK (iridium and heat range dependant on mods i think its 7-8?) Aux belts- gates/any other make will do Oil filter- i have blueprint atm but a Gen one to go on (got two on the cheap)
  14. Off topic but it says....N/A and turbo on that unit
  15. No probs mate it will be better with the TRD panel you got instead of that cruddy little thing I noticed you had alot of earthing problems with the alarm and stuff, im gona be looking into making an earthing kit for mine soon you interested? i want to wire-up the passenger side strut, rocker cover, slam panel, below the battery, mabe to the engine block itself and have a look at the alternator - battery wire see if i can put a 2-0 AWG wire there.
  16. haha lol....next week fingers crossed
  17. Lovely pics there buddy, esp the last one lol but gotta say second to last pic is uff!....as said the front end looks really tidy would love to see the 98 spec fogs in there to fill the gaps properly. @ Gal.....wait till the summer when the cup holders are out n the sunroof is open
  18. Sounds mint, now wheres the pics??
  19. I read a thread somewhere it was possible....cant help much else, sorry
  20. Yup ^^ well on this one it has on the driver side they are not so clear on the passenger side (pic 4)
  21. TTE spoiler is near enough ready to go on (just waiting for better weather and it needs a good buff) lower him on TTE springs if they ever come up...apart frm that just look after him and bring the paint work back to its former glory....
  22. Gal my camera`s at the ready! lol bourkey was surprised to see i had a leccy sunroof n idrees asked wether i had fitted the clusters with the rev gauge... the bumpstrips dont look bad tbh compared to uk spec not sure about the strips on the bumper corners tho seeing these beautys keeps giving me ideas for my own....put rear leccy windows in and pimp it out with bride door cards n interior floor mats P.s one thing im surprised to see is no rev gauge? looks like sportif clusters.....also no air resonator?!
  23. Lol you just randomly hear ABS!! every now and then......
