  1. imo.....leave it to the honda boys
  2. Yup sticky pad...what i did was use an old credit card to lift it up when you`ve got a good grip rip it all off slowly. Opening the door helps when trying to grip the edge....
  3. Just two questions/tip bud 1) original paint work?....order an eraser wheel off ebay cost you around £8 n the lady posts rapid (i ordered on lyk fri it was here on tue) when you get it use the lowest speed setting, keep it moving, and use the full outer edge the full wheel should do the whole car http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Strip-Off-Eraser-Whe...%3A1|240%3A1318 2) re-painted? stick to the old school method...hairdryer etc reason being original paint work is "baked" at a higher temp for it to set, body shops use a lower temp oven at almost half the manufacturers temp. its got the 50" profile tyre
  4. Only got the paint cleaner today (get all the kit slowly ,i cant afford it £8.45 a pop + £23 for clay kit) n fitted rics mani after giving it a quick paint job looks lush...he doesnt seem to notice a big which is a surprise but he`ll get used to it

  8. Yup even the rear windows i have a CD model with only front two that are electric and electric sunroof....poverty spec UK cars for you eh? Dude you need to go on a starlet hunt 1 day and picture as many weird looking ones as you can even the the remix
  9. WOW.....it has FULL electrics Look at the others in the background of the the second to last pic..... the distributor looks diff too..
  10. No1`s hardly ever up tho...............
  11. Fook that man, came home around 4.25ish was dark as anything....pissed me off so i didnt even bother going to get the stuff. on a better note bourkey i`ve put two sockets to one side they should do the job, but go easy Just text ric aswell to come early in the morning so i can get his mani on asap!
  12. First and foremost is money....and how much you have to spend. buy the best you can afford but dont be cheap "do it cheap, do it twice".....then i guess its just port+polish, clean the head, hone the block, pistons , rods, cruise springs etc list is almost endless. As for what parts are best im not sure tbh best wait for the lads who have actually gone forged to post up.
  13. As sparky said...you wont properly know what else has gone untill you strip it down but its an excuse to go forged
  14. Funk me ^^ imo just buy from someone on tgtt/uksc/private sale/glanza.co.uk.....i have to be honest and say cars around bradford live a hard life esp turbo`s they just get ragged and because its "toyota" they dont get serviced on time etc. Every few secs/mins i hear a scooby or something being bombed up the road even N/A cars with exhausts you can actually hear the length of time they are hammered and reved the funk out of. They drive like wakankers...then complain they can`t get insurance on a decent car bar micra/yaris the person usually saying it has just been driving without insurance. only yesterday i saw an idiot in a micra at 10ish (dark as anything thick fog) blazed across a round about no indicator no headlights let alone fogs and beeped at us because we were crossing
  15. lol...im just getting ready to shoot off home in an hour or so i may go halfords
  16. Have a read http://www.parkers.co.uk/cars/reviews/volvo/v40-1996.aspx
  17. Do you have any pics of the remix model? lol that ^^ looks like something the queen would have
  18. Not to sure about that tbh....if you take it apart to port it etc you may find whats causing it?
  19. If you port it, it will just hold boost better and not let air escape.....so the only thing you will lose is bits of metal shavings and you may aswell gwt the actuator while your at it hks ones have stronger springs than the stock.....
  20. Ill try and machine buff it first bud, and see what comes of it
  21. Hey spotted this bumper before on one of the links gal gave me.....what is it called? avaliable?
  22. that would be coool!!
  23. Now that is one of a kind ^ a proper remix starlet.......
  24. Would make sense.... Mr toyota didn`t give the uk spec N/A one so i suppose he had loads lying around and gave every carat one too
  25. £3,655.44........ not sure about the reflet engine it may have the same as the Glanza S and Carat
