  1. Just found his number online and gave him a call, he's having problems at home with flooding and stuff.

Hopefully it'll arrive soon, I like to try and trust people as much as possible, I'm sure he'll do the right thing.

  2. I sent James £15 for the OMP Boss he had for sale about a week ago, was told the item would be sent on Monday/Tuesday but as of yet nothing has turned up in the post which is a shame.

Due to me having to cancel my cards after my wallet was taken I chose to send James the money via bank transfer. A mistake on my part, as I have no real come back. I'm just glad it's only £15, just be aware when dealing with this guy.

    Sent two unanswered PM's now.

  3. Mine was £1300 from CC but it was for an EP82, they wanted a lot more for the Glanza when I enquired as they don't have the plans for one so whoever has one fitted to their Glanza would be the first.

It's a proper job mind you, and is likely to help prevent serious injury in a large crash unlike some of the bolt in stuff you can buy. It's worth remembering that bolting a cage to the floor isn't going to do crap in the result of a roll over, the floors on the starlet are like cheese. You'll need to have plates welded in to spread load, otherwise the legs of the cage are likely to punch straight through the floor if you end up upside down.

But then, the majority of you only want a cage in the car to look good anyway, so I guess the above doesn't matter a great deal.

  4. I have a short pipe hot route I think, but it still comes up out of the turbo and then back down again which is a bit untidy really.

Not sure if the CT9a solution will work for me with it being a hybrid turbo, but I could be wrong.

Thanks for the help, I might end up just asking Race Tech to do it for me, they're only round the corner!

  5. Possibly..

I have mine off the car now, and will be going to see if a Glanza one, which I'm told holds more fuel will fit. Not sure how we'll get it down to Brighton from Sheffield, I'll leave that up to you.

    Price wise, £40 or so.

  6. Looks good does this!

I decided against trying to reinvent the wheel as far as gauges go, so have gone back to my original plan which is to develop a lap timer. My GPS sensor and Accelerometer arrived int he mail this morning, hopefully get some time on Sunday to start prototyping.

  7. I intend to run V70a / V700 in a medium compound in the dry and either a R1R or AD08 in the wet.

The biggest problem with wet grip is getting enough heat into the tyre for it to work, something soft like the R1R or AD08 should work well, it certainly does for my friend who i'll be racing in the same series as next year. A box fresh R888 / A048 can also work well in the wet, just enough tread to clear water and soft enough to get some heat into them.

The problem we'll all have is getting heat into the rear tyres, the car is so light at the back it's ridiculous.
