  1. I have the apexi fc ecu on my glanza , i had to source the commander from apexi in japan was a nightmare, make sure it comes with one as is handy for showing temps, boost ,knocking and if all sensors are working etc.
  2. I Agree with that mate ,the only way of knowing true flywheel bhp for a particular engine is to run that engine on an engine dyno with perfect running conditions as manufacturers do to get there figures .Or take a wheel hp figure +10 and divide by 0.9 = BHP to get a guesstimate .It was done at TDi north on a hub dyno not rollers so more accurate. It is going to monster motosport for the remap and a dyno session so will clarify the HP after that. Also have graphs from TDI to prove it but hey if TDI are wrong for some reason then fair enough.
  3. will be up for a meet !
  4. A company called wrongway custom fabrications ( wrongway racing) made it it is full weld in 50mm cold drawn steel he sponsors me so didnt cost a lot materials pretty much! yeah am competing this year in toyota sprint series had two 3rd places and got round 3 on the 28th so fingers crossed! Not sure oh hp not to fussed to be honist focusing on handling and car setup now for quick track times, but will be around 180-200 bhp atw after looking at ecu again. cheers for the comments guys!
  5. thought i would add a bit of an update to the car seeing as it has changed a lot lately... MODS: APEXi POWER FC ECU and commander (AP engineering spec) HKS Paddle clutch Lightweight flywheel HKS SSQV blow off valve Apexi induction kit TRD ignition leads HKS up rated adjustable actuator JAM super tuning system chip BLITZ NUR SPEC stainless steel exhaust system Zisco Stainless steel tubular RAM manifold HDI front mount intercooler Stainless steel braced de cat Apexi filter relocation kit Poly rear gearbox mount bush Air-con removed with shortened belt Walboro up rated fuel pump
  6. I would be up for this , quite a drive for me though.
  7. the blitz front mount was badly layed out and really laggy, the hdi piping is much better and less lag take my hat off to them. Liam yeah spoke to you down MFN done loads since then lol
  8. originally had a blitz fmic on it yeah came with a few other bits and peieces on it. I want to change the leads for blue thicker ones dont like the red.
  9. Thanks for the comments guys Car come mostly standard apart from wheels and the apexi ecu ( No commander) 1st and 2nd gear boost limiter has been taken off it is a standard ct9 yeah i thought sounded too high getting it rolling roaded again to double check, it was a proper hub dyno at TDI tuning in essex. I havent ever had the engine itself apart so could have head work etc but doubt it , more likely over excited dyno machine. I meant omori gauges sorry lol ( pictures soon ) The original front bumper was hacked to pieces by original jap owner as you can see on my sig, your welcome to it l
  10. This is my first glanza and i love it ! I bought it from WRC imports 6 months ago with a few mods on it and not in the best condition ever seen. Heres a few pics of when i got it
  11. I have got the same shocks they are useless! To hard and not a lot of ride height adjuctment. and mine are also leaking.
  12. right stripped everything off the front end this morning to try and find the problem or what was causing the knocking noise , the only thing i found was that my coilovers sounded like they were topping out after compressing. Is this a common problem and is there a way to fix it?? They are TRD fully adjustable coilovers.
  13. cheers for the help much appriciated. going to garage asap
  14. they are not clicking when turning and they dont wiggle everything seems to be solid, slight play in shafts though is that normal or could the splines or hub be worn?
  15. they are trd coilovers so they are fine checked them , when i push down on the wings the noise is not there and it dont sound like a knocking cv joint the gaiters are fine as well. ????
  16. I have recently started hearing a knocking noise coming from the drivers side wishbone area of my 1996 ep91. I can feel it through my pedals and only happens over small bumps in the road. It is a dull metal on metal noise. I have checked wishbones ,drop links, roll bars suspension. Possibly drive shafts wearing??? Please help
