I have this clutch fitted its awesome never ever slips whatever you do to it . Bit aggresive in traffic but you get used to it. Maybe not best idea if used every day.

I am after a rebuild kit containing circlips etc. i also need 3rd gear sproket and syncro ring and 4th syncro ring, 4x shaft bearings and release bearing .Anyone know if you can get these seperate and is it a trip to toyota with your trousers down??

Only got a few months to finish everything so cant afford to hang about ! yeah box is getting the rebuild treatment aswell.

Right opened gearbox today and found a few problems..... All shaft bearings worn 3rd gear syncro ring 3rd gear cog destroyed 4th gear syncro ring Release bearing very worn diff bearings worn

Right seperated head from block tonight ( thanks matt!! ) and removed pistons and rods. Found nothing serious luckily , just needs a good clean !!

I was hoping to be there too matey gutted ! Rebuilding gearbox today so will put some pics up later and let you know what disasters i find !

thanks guys , i do miss having it as a day to day car i must say but when you get it on track it is so worth it ! You can do one event of the series if you want you just have to see what spaces are left after the championship drivers have paid up. Hope to see more glanzas in the series next season!

Quick update on the car at the end of the season.. Finished 4th in class B for 2009 season Right had engine and box out today as start of winter rebuild reay for next season. Big thanks to saint matt for the help. Hopefully going forged seeing as running bigger turbo now but see what state the internals are in first before i buy anything! there my shit road set lol there my old BBS's off my old scirocco sprayed orange! The volks have got my R888's on now for track use but currently have a destroyed set on lol.

They were only 6 clicks off hard in that photo , i started the day on hard and it felt like they were coming through the bonnet lol. I am looking to get a rear whiteline ARB kit i have heard good things about them. Cheers matey

It has not got a rear ARB no , couldnt afford one this season with everything else needed. It used to understeer loads on the shitty TRD coilies now have BC sports coilovers and their the daddy! Got a H brace for the front coming soon. Have been running soft at the last two events due to pikey spec rough tracks hense the extra body roll...Needs corner weighting now though as its miles out job for next week i think! Quick update on my glanza, Round 4 at Barkston Finished 2nd ! Round 5 at woodbridge Finished 5th after destroying tires and decat and ic and rad brackets so not a good day!

i am going to strip it down tommorow and have a look i think it is just getting a bit tired , see if i can find any ovious problems. will let you know how it goes.

Noticed a lot of play in the cables and gear stick as well , gearox oil was changed recently but i reckon worth a try seeing as had a few track outings on it.thanks for advice mate

I have a ep91 glanza with a non lsd standard box, i am having trouble getting it into gear mainly 1st 2nd and 3rd. It feels notchy and like the gates are too tight to get in , only way can think to explain it. Also when in neutrel the gear stick moves around a lot like bushes are worn. could it be selector cables ??? any help would be great. cheers guys.
