I said cheaper, starlets are money pits.......did I just say that out loud? GT/MX5/Civic/Prelude are all being considered ;)
-
You should have come down sat I am in 2 minds as to what to do, the celica will need more cash throwing at it to improve it some more or I could sell now and buy something cheaper to mod
-
Cheers dude, I was too busy being pulled in a million directions when not on track, didn't go out with anyone as too busy mingling lol
-
Sorry, thought it was a 190 for some reason. The MR2ROC boys might want it as in a roadster it flies
-
^^^^THIS Would be awesome to get some more starlets to show the honda boys how it is done
-
No point putting a 140 lump in, a 190 vvtli lump is a different matter though ;)

Last April it came to about £110 a head but leave it with me and I will see what we can do. Could make it a camping event too if so wished. Enough numbers we could have it UKSO in association with Track-Ninjas.net
-
Too right you will, I need a ride in your motor
-
Not sure but Gen7 brakes are known to be poor. You got it up on Celica Club as breaking?
-
Looking at it, Apex are at Combe around that time so must be Javelin It is on my list of tracks to hit next year but need to decide on a track motor and get it built
-
That is a good price, is that with Apex? We are are going to start offering group discounts on Apex trackdays so watch this space
-
Thinking of running another Blyton track day in April next year, anyone on this site up for hitting the track?
-
Damn, missed the chance of a bum
-

No problem dude, I only learnt that over on Track Ninjas -
Anyone else looking and thinking that the filter is just going to be sucking the lovely hot air that comes from the back of the radiator?

Yeah Dean should be able to sort it, I am all about the safety lol hence why I won't run a harness without a cage as that is also dangerous -

You should be able to get a harness bar welded on to your original cage dude for not very much -

No they don't The big issue with fixing harnesses to rear seat belt points is that in a front end crash, you risk badly damaging your spine because you, the seat and the harness can/do pivot forwards & down (think what would happen if the flimsy fibreglass seat back snapped!). MSA (Blue Book, Part K) say that the rear harness straps are prefered at an angle of +/- 10 degrees from horizontal, down to a max of 45 degrees. So your car would be unlikely to pass scrutineering if you mount to the rear seat belt points anyway, and you won't get to a nice shallow angle without a harness bar. Pers -
I personally think he has done it for the money more than anything, I am not a fan of him as a driver or a person, much prefer watching his brother drive. Perez on the other hand could do very well at Mclaren

The other thing is, he claims he has been paying for everything when he gets over £1k a year in trader fees. One trader would more than cover what the costs should be
