for me, about a year ^^ a quote I subscribe to is "turbos dont die, they are killed" if you dont rape it every day, and you look after it (warm it up, cool it down, oil changes, etc) a turbo will last ages. most trucks and busses have turbos. and they last for hundreds of thousands of miles.

its more to do with the fact i cant be bothered to move, let alone work on a car. ive got an engine laying about in pieces that needs putting together. reseating valves. best. fun. evar.......

i did it last night. i blew the turbo up ^^ went to overtake a lorry on the A12 and boof. loads of smoke and no boost. a glanza with no boost is hilarious to drive. like an NA, but with raelly shitty compression. it was lush. i need to sort this rebuild out soon methinks... heres the replacement.
