I see where your coming from, but as far as I can make out the bar itself is not adjustable, I think the holes on the end brackets must be elongated to give you some movement. Id really hope its not for show since its being advertised as "Ideal if you are using harnesses in your track/road car." I had thought about contacting Dean to fab up a starlet specific one (Edit; Ive put it to Dean.... ) http://www.ukstarletowners.com/topic/65502-harness-bar/
Being honest, I dont know as it didnt give you a choice, I just ordered the one in the Toyota section
The guy I spoke to was pretty vague and un helpfull unfortunately, I gave him a rough measurement and he told me they were universal and there was plenty adjustment in it, so it would fit. Im not holding out much hope in all honesty, cause my mates civic was a good 5inches wider at the same point!
Never had problems with yellowstuff pads with grooved discs on the road. Ran ferodo ds2500 pads on track with the same discs and 5.1 fluid again with no problems. The ds2500 are quite expensive and pretty bad when cold so maybe not great for city driving
^^^ Yeah thats kind of what im thinking about doing if i try making one myself, Id have to get my seats in and see how far back they sit, if its not too far i might just run a solid or adjustable bar between the two top seat belt points. Id be taking the back seats out so could also have a kind of supposrt between the bar and where the rear seatbelts bolt to if needs be
Not been able to reply on my iFail for some reson.
I know the exact car your talking about, awesome! Same thing as that yeah, also like the AMS harness bar for the Evo's. Be decent if there was a few folk intersted for a GB.
Be interested to see pics if you have any!
That one is missing a nut or two which is purely for locking the screw in place, they are adjusted by an allen key in the top of that screw. Looks like the top of that one has been put on back to front too since the top vac nipple is at the front instead of the back. Although That one looks in much better condition than some ive seen! I was considering selling mine but seeing the price and condition that some have sold in lately, and that one is missing parts, mine must be worth at least double
Simon, your maybe the same guy offering this on tgtt, but im not so sure that a type s, that looks like a type rz. this is a type s http://www.ukstarletowners.com/topic/59653-greddy-type-s-bov-purple/

I run std internals at a bar on td04 with a power fc making 236bhp. I ran the standard ecu under fuel cut at about .8bar and it was fine but laggy, get a much batter drive with a map. I personally wouldn't push much more than a bar but at the end I the day it's down to how good the map is! 1.4bar has been seen but not for that long! You say you got a rad from tuning developments, is it a full size 40mm alloy rad? I could be wrong but turbo kits that fit a standard rad might not fit with the alloy rad?
This one... http://www.toyotagtturbo.com/forums/showthread.php?83404-Few-quot-Clean-Car-quot-pics-of-my-forged-td05-mk1-GT Pretty sure its still got the td05 strapped to it but on a rebuilt standard engine.... three letters spring to mind!
Same boat, had parada's but they are scary in the wet, got some ad08's for a trackday, thankfully it stayed dry and i couldnt fault them, still using them on the road but not had a chance to see how they go in the wet. If I end up keeping these tyres for track I'd be trying the rainsports or the hankook ventus v12 evo, anyone tried the hankooks?
