i would go modified tbh mate you will save a hole heap of money, but then again it isnt the same as modding your own car from scratch is it,

hi guys i have just bought some 15inch rota wheels which came of an astra, i was just wondering if i needed spigot rings to go with the wheels?? and if i do, where do i get them from, and also what size would i need any help would be much appreciated cheers ryan

i was just about to post this question lol, i think it would fit but i dont think it is as strong as the 4efte box e.g better gears in box so the 4efe box wouldnt be able to take as much abuse but im not 100% sure on this i also need someone to confirm this question cheers ryan

my first car was a 1.2 nova which cost me £100 put a 1.4 sr engine in it and 45webber twin carbs bolted on was bloody juicy tho, was a beast never went wrong at all and got aload of abuse, then i gave it to my bro for his first car and now got the glanza

i no you said that u have checked all of the fuses but i would double check the fuse inside the car sayin tail, this controlles side lights, tail lights dial lights just worth double checking this cheers ryan

yea im preety sure that the glanza screen is the same as the n/a ep91 had to change mine a while back on my glanza

sorry i didnt read the post quite right i had 55w ice blue headlamp bulbs in not 100w so yea would be illegal

i take it you are on about headlight bulbs?? and as long they are e-marked bulbs they are ok, i used to have these in my glanza but have now upgraded to hid hope this helps

well when i unplug it it doesnt do anything the revs just does the same and i have already cleaned out the icv out and tried to adjust the idle with the screw and no difference, my glanza is idling at 2000rpm its pretty bugging me now, gonna try a diag test now see what that comes uo with cheers ryan

oh ok because my revs stay the same when i unplug it, i have been having idle probs, would you say the icv is wankered then?

if i unplug the idle control valve whilst the car is running should the idle change at all cheers ryan

can i do the diagnostic flash test with my hks f-con still plugged into the ecu?? would it do any damage to the f-con? help very apreciated cheers ryan

it idles high all of the time, idle gets higher when the car warms up, when drove the car and stopped in traffic the idle sits at 2000rpm and goes up and down like crazy for about 30secs then settles down to about 1800rpm

right guys im really after some advice, got an idle problem on my glanza basicall when i start my car in the morning it idles at 1500rpm then drive off, and wen im sat in traffic or stopped the car will rev to 2000rpm and the revs start fluctuating up and down but after about 30secs the revs lower down to about 1700rpm and carrys on creeping down very slowly to about 1200rpm, but even after this if i move off in the car it will rev to 2000rpm all over again i have checked for air leaks but i cant find anything, and as we are not able to code read starlets very well im pretty stuck, if any one has any idea of of whats going on it woulld be very apreciated cheers ryan
