hey guys been offered a 4efte engine in need of the bottom end rebuilding as i wanna go forged, the bloke wants £100 for it, its a complete engine not just the block how much do you lot reckon its worth?? cheers ryan

depends on your funds, the standard shocks on the sr are pretty good, my sr handels really well and its standard, and the spax springs are good quality, im gonna be selling a set of kyb excell shocks with tein springs soon off my glanza as i have just bought a set of coilovers, will be selling them wen i can be assed to swap them over, there lower the car nicely ask curt hes senn the glanza, just a thought, but still the spax springs will be shit hot still by the way if your putting glanza rear lights on your sr could i buy your old 1s as mine are a little cracked on my sr

looking good chanelle, starting to collect alot of parts now, bet your getting well excited now and the glanza headlights are bout £80 each from toyota nowadays just priced up a set for my glanza

front discs and pads c/v boot and just found out the clutch has started to slip geting it all done over the weekend, only give £700for it and its mint

i was thinking that exactly nd yea the cars gonna get done properly, this insurance has done me a fovour really because i was gonna get the front bumper painted anyway because where i chopped it to fit cooler the bumper looked a bit rough round the edges, and uve seen my car its gotta be mint i fukin fussy with it, the most anoying thing is that ive jus bought a sr but its got no test atm need to do some work on it, and i wouldnt mind using it as i dont like droiving around in a dented up glanza

cheers for the info guys and im ok thanks chanelle and curt, the motor isnt that bad at all, the wing is slightly bent, front bumper is damaged the headlight clips are broke on one side and the bonnet has lifted VERY lightly and an indicator and front mount is ok as i only hit the drivers side front, i honestly just bumped into into her, no structual damage at all and as for the insurance her company has took full blame and said i can take the car whereva i want so gonna take it to fulford motorsport as the do a pucker job, but honestly guys the car isnt as bad as it seens, wanted to cry wen

yeah i know of a well respected one just down the road from where i work so i might take my car down and get a quote on my lunch break

i have rang up the insurance and there insurance has already accepted it was her fault and they want to take my car away to be repaired only thing is if i get it sprayed surely it is goin to be off colour has anybody has there car repaired due to insurance etc how has it came out?? i am worried that it is really going to be noticable

On the way to work today, a lady driver decided to pull out on me, it has damaged my wing and front bumper and indicator (pics up later) i have a witness to back me up to go through her insurance anyone got any advice for this (ie can you get hold of wings indicators etc) or is it worth sourcing parts second hand and getting them sprayed etc etc oh and its a 96 spec glanza v in white *sorry admin if this is in wrong thread* cheers ryan

well the sr is ok its black, completely standard 70,000miles with all the sr stickers which is a bonus, nd na i didnt get it of ebay it was a customers at my work, it failed mot on front discs and pads, c/v boot and needs the exaust cat back, the customer didnt have any money so i offered him £700 for it which i think is a bloody bargin, only gonna use it for a couple of months because ive gota few things i wanna do an the v

was it a brand new rad you put in mate?? if not it could be blocked

welcome to the site mate my mate has a lupo gti and thats thing is rapid, both the starlet and lupo's are good cars but both are very different sorts of motors tho its all up to you in the end of the day but if i was gonna get a lupo get a gti as all the rest are wank

try and wipe off as much as you can the rest would just burn off after a few miles it will just smoke and smell for abit its fine to drive bud
