hi just a quickie 1st whats a AVCR what does it do and mean etc same question for a SAFC. I've been told i need one but dont know what is means lol can anyone help please thanks

Firstly yheres no point adding a shed loads of power without having the car ready for it. i was like you i bought a EP82 gt turbo and wanted to crank the power straight up but was told by loads of poeple to do things differently. so my advice mate is to get the cooling and intake improved. you can do this by a Front mount intercooler, removing the very restrictive EFI pipe and relocating the filter to the front of the car. and even bonnet raisers will help too Then get the ignition sorted i.e uprated leads and better plugs id also get the gasses expelling properly so bigger better exhaust eg uprated manifold, decat pipe etc finially id get the fuelling sorted eg RRFPR, FCD and maybe an aftermarket ecu or piggy back followed by a rolling road session to set it up this although wont make much power difference will do your car a load of good and get it ready to take the 200bhp power your aiming for without blowing the engine to the northsea lol then you can mod it to increase power. so hybrid turbo, up the boost etc etc Hope this helps mate

just a thought. you said it looks like its had a front mount intercooler on it before? so im guessing now it hasnt? just wondering if a standard intercoolers been put back on has it been put back on properly? cause if not the boost will be leaking and if youve got that the car will just act like theres no turbo there and turn into a 1.3 n/a basically so id check that 1st matey

Right guys the engines in my EP82 GT turbo and its running except its not ticking ova at all and misfiring Its got new spark plugs in it and the coil packs ok but its running very rich and the engine management lights on Any ideas??? lamda sensors are in etc etc cant work it out Help needed Plus does anyone have any good tips on how to bleed the water system as someone with experience in MR2's has said toyotas are a git to get water to circulate and he suspects the waters not flowing through the throttle body very well and it needs bleeding Again any tips would be very appreciated Cheers lads

Right guys just for the know... i want to know what BHP your running at and how you got there so spec lists would be good Im currently running at fook all cause i bought a dodgy starbo and the engines blown but before i think i was running at the 140bhp mark but thats going to soar up soon All i have on is: Blitz SUS induction kit Blitz Super BOV Full Japspeed System (Manifold.De-Cat and 3 Inch Middle section with 4 1/2 inch Pipe) HKS Turno timer Soooooooo........ whats everyone else running at???

oh yer sorry i got an EP82 GT Turbo and i meant exhaust but thought id do something to the inlet manifold while im down there lol i know there different engines and this is an example but just seeing if something like a celica inlet would fit again thats a made up example i know

Hi, I've got my full system through finially haha Thought while i drop everything off to put my new one in i mayswell do something to the Inlet manifold So.... could anyone tell me If its better to get a uprated one, where i can get one and whats the best Or if its better to do something else to improve it Help is appreciated
