Can you pm me with pics and price inc. postage to mainland? haha I was thinking about getting the one on socks's site, but thought I maybe better off getting something better. I love my cheapo one I'm currently running, but I'm sure i'm not getting an accurate reading from it. Dyou know if there is anyway to test it? oh yeah how much does NB want for his sard? I promised myself this was going to be a budget build this time around with my starlet...but I come on here and you lot put all sorts of ideas in my head ffs lol.

Has anyone got a mechanical speedo converter? One that connects at the end gearbox end converts kph to mph? Let me know what you got. Thanks

Has anyone got these fitted to their Gt? My OEM ones are screwed and don't fancy paying silly cash for a new set. So was thinking about the T H ones if the fitment was OK?

Came to a bit of a compromise and bought a turbo smart boost tee. It arrived today and I m fitting it tomorrow. Fingers crossed.

lol nuff said. I'll try and swop it for a 1 bar one then. I see your point. I had an avc r on my last GT, but I havent got the cash for one of those at the moment. Any others you would suggest that would be reliable without breaking the bank?

LOL....I wish I would have known that before I bought the ne spring...So would a 1bar spring from them be closer to .8 bar like Phil said? hmm I think I saw Mikey make a video about this. ps guys. I've had a think and, you guys do deserve to know who it is....it was ROTABOOST. People may have bought from him before with no issues, but this wasnt the case for me....gutted.

I ordered and tried a .8 bar spring from demon motorsports and the same thing happens....If funds allowed I would 100% get an ebc It was initially...car sounded like a tractor. But fitted the sealing ring and double checked everything else

I'll see what he has to say first. But if not I'll gladly name and shame. Hey Phil, would a 1 bar spring be ok in there? A mate of mine had similar issues with his...he said changing the spring didnt make any difference, they were all pretty much the same so went for a mbc instead. I'm fully ballin on a budget at the moment, so i may have to go down the mbc route too :s It seems to be luck of the draw with them mate. I remeber you saying that your brother hasnt had any issues with his. Maybe I'm just one of the unlucky ones.

Hi guys, Not one to usually do this, but had to have a rant. I bought a td04 kit off a member on here last year. Initially I just wanted the the turbo kit, but he said he would throw an external wastegate in for a good price. I was a bit skeptical as it was a tial replica gate, but the dude said that he had had no issues what so ever with it. So I thought sod it, and bought it as well, as it was already running a .8 bar spring (I was planning to run low boost until I could afford to get the car mapped) I spent a couple of months gathering other bits I would need like, brakes suspension

ATYs are good cars. You ve got a family 4 door whip, and a potential track day car if you wanted to. My neighbour used to have one and i was quite surprised how quick they were and how well they handled when i went for a blast.

I think i ve sussed my problem...vac pipes not plumed in correctly. Bare with me on this one lol. Initially, I had one pipe going from the turbo to the bottom of the wg, one pipe from the top of the wg, to the bov and another pipe t'ed into the turbo/wg pipe and going to the,Tb with my boost guage. I then removed the boost guage line (so the guage was disconnected) and connected the bottom hose on my bov to TB. So now I m plannning to do the above - what daniel said - and, run one vac line from the turbo to bottom of wg...then one line from bov into the TB and T the boost guage into that pi

Would have to be a type r out of the above for me...the ep3 is a really capable car in the right hands, and can see really good gains with simple bolt ons, like exhaust mani cai. Then if you can afford to, hondata s300...and a map..that really brings them to life. I used mine daily for about a year, and they re comfy cars, with plenty of space and quick enough for the street. Everyone has got them for a reason lol.

Cheers mate....my car no longer sounds like a tractor lol.....but now not boosting past 5psi. I'm going to change the wg spring and see if thats the issue....the dude I bought the kit off said it was a .8 bar spring...but doesn't look that way.

Thanks man. Just one more thing...where does the wastegate sealing ring sit? I vw hor a feeling i havent got one fitted as the car isnt boosting past .2 bar
