  1. Slick car man Get some 99'spec headlight corners and rear lights along with the front spoiler and you'll be shorted with the exterior,
  2. Nice work mate! All this mods will surely give a smile in your face (and make your bank happy as well ). What have you done regarding brakes, suspension and transmission?
  3. Welcome Steve! Nice to see you here as well. The Paseo posse is getting stronger
  4. Great project dude and you picked the best way to make an LHD conversion
  5. Yeap I'll double what scutch0 says. I don't think you'll have any problems. I've seen a handfull of starlets here, with a 4E-FTE using the N/A gearbox, on cars of around 180hp with quite high torque figures. So regarding strength, ( unless it has not wear off), you won't facing any problems. You should only worry if the gear ratio will fit your driving style and the use the car is build for, but from our chats I think your on the right track
  6. Nice update Joz! Glad everything is going as planned. And now that you got over the MOT you can go all out
  7. Well guys I measured the cylinder compression last week and I took quite healthy figures. So I took my car to my mechanic, had a 5000km service (oils, oil filter, cleaning air filter, etc) and I also changed the bloody valve seals. When the valve seals were taken out they were in a very bad shape and they almost "float" on the valves. Now I'm going to check the oil level every 500km or so to see if the problem is fixed or if its something else wrong.
  8. Yes, I can do it that way as well, but I'll have to pay for at least one hour on the dyno + tuning the bloody thing. In the end of the day it will cost me almost the same like buying my own wideband and tune it on the road. Plus I will have my own wideband to make further fine tuning with future upgrades
  9. So after a long waiting I've received this.... Here is a trial of what the possible layout will be Now I have to get this fitted and tune it. But in order to properly do that I'll need a wideband as well (and my mate that had a portable one, sold it with his car ). So it may take a little more than I've expected...
  10. Well here is the video of the dyno as I promised: NosSystems "bush" is also included ;)
  11. Nice upgrade man, although sometimes is a bitch to drive in traffic... but it gets the work done and thats whats important ;)
  12. Perfect example of a Glanza mate, with very nice factory extras
  13. Yeap it as classic as chaning oils in this motors (although you usually do it only once), but thankfully its the only common "problem" in this engines
  14. Pro. But just to make sure I'll measure it again with a friend of mine that has the required equipment .
  15. Cheers for the comments guys. I'll change the valve seals by the end of the month and have another compression test just to make sure. A tubular inlet manifold is in my short future plans, so I will definitely give it a go, although I don't know what will happen then with the low range torque. But there is only one way to find out. I have also noticed that the engine is probably running quite lean and I have to short it out (I have already ordered a piggyback, but hasn't arrived yet).
  16. Well I've finally managed to go for a dyno-run and unfortunately the results were as I was expecting them... BAD. 97,3hp and 96.7 lbf/ft torque was much less than I should have seen based the mods I have. My engine is in a very bad shape lately and it burns A LOT of oil. All the outer seals have been changed and now the next logical step is to open the engine and change the valve seals and maybe the valve springs as well. After doing that I have some more items to add and go to the dyno once again to see if it made any difference. Anyway here are the result and the dynosheet PASEO DYNO
  17. They fabricated a custom loom for LHD using a Glanza one (GT actually). He actually made all the turbo swap/conversion by himself along with some friends help. Everything except the loom.
  18. Welcome Nos that you don't have Nos LOL
  19. It looks wicked mate! EG9 are my favorite Civics and specially when they have B18 / K20 engine swaps!
  20. I'm not 100% sure if it was the Coupe 20v Turbo, but no modification was made on the discs. I think that the specific model has the same pcd. Also I think that they alternative use Nissan GTiR discs for 15' wheels fitment but I think that they need some modification in order to fit. The spacers I used are custom made and they are quite small about 5mm. The adapter plate was fabricated by a pro brake specialist that I have the whole kit prepered and fitted. Here is how they look and the spacer
  21. Make a topic of your own, don't spam my page And present yourself as well in the proper thread noob
  22. Well guys I didn't went into details because I could write down a whole essay, which would be quite boring to read. Except from some things that Joz has cleaverly thought and pre-arranged to correct I saw some other things missing. The main conversation (which was a long one) was about if the parts that are used will be matched properly in order to get the result that Joz wants and what are his initial goals and expections of this engine/setup ...bla blah blah... I don't have any intention NOT to share anything usefull infos with you (in the end of the day, thats what such forums are all abou
  23. Thanx once again for the comments guys! Its by far the best splitter for the Paseo (at least thats my opinion) and man I was waiting around 2 years to source one and I gave an arm and a leg to get it, but it was well worth it as it was the last one made and it was brand new in its box (although it is discontinued 7 years now ). Well its quite a common brake swap for jap cars, mainly for Nissan's, but I've seen it in a couple of Toyotas as well. Plus Zep makes a kit to be used with this calipers. But I was on a budget so I've sourced a nice pair throught ebay and fabricated with my m
