Have you any fuelling mods to keep up with all that boost your running mate? I don't know how the EP91 ECU alarms you for "knock" (detonation) but in the GT4 it brings on the EM light to warn you the ECU is retarding the ignition. Could be that but I don't want to alarm you.

I do have another camera... two others in fact, one is away with my girlfriend in amsterdam because she has lost the charger for the cam I bought her and the other one is my old skool 35mm film cam!

I had a RCL keyfob on my old Glanza too -- it only worked from about 3feet away from the car tho. I was going to replace the battery but I was told to watch out because taking the battery out might reset the fob... needing it to be reprogrammed! But I didn't know how to reprogram it either sorry

Well I had a play around with an EOS400D and a nikon D50 at christmas -- the Nikon was more intuitive to use and fiddle with settings than the cannon. Don't know about picture quality but I'm sure they'll both be pretty good!

Yeah you can get the diseasals chipped out their brain too -- sure the stage1 is 180bhp

Just err on the side of caution when buying second hand too! At the least there may be dust on the CCD making for bad image quality, of course it may be genuine and may be in A1 condition!

Next things on the list are to get the windows smoked a bit and the having squatting on all fours like a bitch, thinking of getting the Koni SSK for it, but noone seems to run that suspension set-up, most run cheap coilover kits with harsh springs, but since I'm looking for a bit more comfort I'll be trying to get a good spring/shocker combo.

The ibiza's got a 45 litre tank (Just read the manual) What's the Glanza got? From empty I always got about 37 quid of optimax at 99p/litre so I'd say a 40 litre tank?

So it means the ibiza still fairs a lot better on petrol. I've been mainly driving it off boost the last few days tho to and from my work.

You won't get much in the SLR category for that budget unfortunatley so you won't really need to worry about lens choices other than the ones on the cam itself.

Well I never really got more than 230mi to a full tank so that equates to ~29mpg in the Glanza. The Ibiza has done 270mi on half a tank so far, so that suits me (right enough it's a bigger tank though )

The extra splitter on mine is of the LCR (Leon Cupra R) it's only like £12 from a seat dealership apparently. Might look well on a starlet!

Hey guys, as you know I sold the Glanza a few weeks ago -- And it's replacement is:

You might recognise the scenery -- I reused the backdrops pretty much frame for frame where I took them of the Glanza. Luckily the guys on SCN didn;t know this

It's a diferent beast to the Glanza altogether... More torque than you can throw a stick at so you don't have to sit up the rev range all the time! It averages about 38mpg or 32mpg if I'm pottering around town which is a lot better on petrol than my Glanza was. I bought it already modified so I'm not 100% sure on the spec but what I do know is:

Star Performance Remap -- 197bhp 210lbft @14psi

Scorpion catback system

N249 bypassed

RamAir Maxflow induction kit

Forge Recirc BOV

Standard Cupra suspension

Runs a 14.6s quarter @100.2mph

I'm still gutted about losing the Glanza, but I'm fairly happy with the Cupra. It's comfy!

If your oil light comes on it pretty much means there's 0 oil pressure -- Not good!!

Got any other pics of the S14a mate? I thought the sig was a bit bare -- I could probably improve on it.

I tried something with the background colour to try and blend it in with both shades of the reply fields but it just stands out on both now I'll fix that too.
