Hello all.. Been a while 👀
What turbos are people using nowadays on 4efte?
Surely things have moved on from old TD04Ls?
I'm looking into using something on a rebuilt (non-forged) 4efte..
Want something capable of 250bhp+ but with full boost below 4k (if possible).
Seen the likes of these mentioned, but not seen them applied to our engines:
-Garrett GT2560R
-Garrett GBC-200 / Pulsar PSR 3942GTIA!

Bit of a resurrection here (of this topic, and my account activity..) but did anyone get any further with plans for shifters?
Was keen on speaking to a company to see if they would want to develop something.
-
Any more details of the exhaust setup, Matt? Size of silencer etc
What dB did it run?
Wanna get a front exit to save weight but wary of noise so wanna get it right first time.
Looks like you're having some wicked time on track, my work has not been friendly for free time

Update please!

Sighting laps showed how much of a fun track this was.
I didn't manage to do any sessions (combination of a hospital admission the night before, weather and track closures!) but I will be back! -
Hi Sacha,
Could you please PM me the current prices for mild steel EWG TD04 manifold kits please?
(Ramhorn/topmount)
Thanks!

Haha no worries! Yeah I'm on silver Ozs nowadays (dp is old!)

Nice write up! Can I just confirm, you managed to retain the JDM column?

Evening all!
First time I've logged on in about 9 months, what have I missed!
Any interesting developments in the Starlet scene?

Might have been mine!

Just went on the site to book but they've taken track time tickets offline
-
Probably have yeah haha! A bit hesitant about booking Advanced session O as my car isn't terribly powerful, and Silverstone is a fast track.
Be good to see your GT though, I spoke to you one time when something failed on the car a few years back. (I'm thinking clutch but might be wrong)
-
I might pop down and do a session
-
Not that I can afford it at the moment, but I would love to see this happen!

Sorted thanks to C0R3Y, thanks again!

I find it ridiculous for this to be gauging interest on only one forum . I believe there would be more then 30 people interested in these if this was put on places like Facebook or any other Toyota starlet forums or so. I'm sure you would get a good response .there are plenty countries which have starlets so why is this gauging interest on one specific forum.
I did suggest them sharing it on FB

Even if I or someone can get just the top bit, where the pivot and lever is I reckon I could make this work, take a look at Coolerworx shifter for the mini https://coolerworx.us/products/mini-cooper-r53-short-shifter easily do-able, pretty much all the movement is there just needs the cable attachments of a starlet adding, the right length for the cable mounts and obviously the base. Bit of cad know how and bit of equipment available to me via work and an old shifter (I have a spare EP91, dunno if the same as EP82). Think after a few weeks I could have something, I'm no qualified engineer but I'd give it ago, plus if I get stuck I know a few of the engineers at work will help out
Do it!
