^In addition to that, a rear brace contributes massively. There's obviously going to be some body roll, which I suppose would only be further eliminated by using coilovers?
-
I don't have any idea on cutting springs. I thin bucketep91 did it on his EP95? The RARB/ALK/Rear brace combo will defo sort your issues out though, my NA is only let down by power now really!
-
If you like it now just wait I don't slow down for corners and roundabouts, I speed up haha
-
Can't tell you how much of a difference they made in words haha (along with a rear brace ) It corners like a fly lol
-
RARB & ALK no question. You will love your car and not want to waste money on more springs, the body roll will still be there without the Whiteline bits! EDIT: I'm going for the lowest known springs on the GT, 40mm PIs which actually settle at about 45mm. Only going for those then the Whiteline stuff when I can afford it

Why not try the ECU first?
-
I wouldn't tbh HardcoreEP as an article saying the Jap tuners often but the UV device thingies that made the ECU useless if opened?
-
I dunno how but the FMIC and spoiler have made a MASSIVE difference to how the wheels look, I love it But move the plate
-
What are you using? I use Collinite 476 but only applied two coats, one 3 months after the other

Those exhaust systems are designed for a Glanza/GT so won't fit! Custom exhaust is your only option The only exhaust manifold designed for the 4efe was the Hotshots mani I believe but you are not likely to find one lol Believe me go for a Corolla inlet mani, custom 2" exhaust, decat and you should see 90bhp
-
Ebay, but you'll need a completely new custom exhaust as they are designed for paseo engines Also there is not really any proven gains on a Starlet engine with an OBX manifold, a decat and cat back exhaust would be better

You seem to wash and wax a lot! And it shows By waxing do you mean actually waxing it? Because if so even I didn't do it this much and I'm OCD about shine hahaha

I'll let you know man, we'll probably put something mike rubber on the axle before changing bushes etc And I replaced all my bushes at once with Powerflex ones as the old ones were tearing
-
You've got yourself an awesome car there man
-
Ingenious ideas guys haha
-
I think the bushes I got were like this Having less distance between the two holes, pulls the exhaust higher away from the ground, or in this case, axle I'm not too concerned to be honest, it is an amazing exhaust system. This niggle is annoying but I am more than happy with the build quality, sound and price I paid for it! I paid twice as much for my NA system! Thanks for that Phil, never thought of getting the pipework modded! Hopefully the bushes will do the trick, if not I'm sure the rubber on the axle will suffice! Failing that I can always get the pipe altered Thanks everybody fo

Welcome Get an inlet manifold off a bugeye '98 corolla 1.3 4efe and a K&N panel filter
-
I think I'll try using some smaller bushes and if that doesn't help, then try the rubber on the axle! Hopefully heat-wrapping and the smaller bushes should sort it out! Thanks for the help fellas!
-
Smaller exhaust bushes have been suggested so far, and to cable tie something to the axle to bridge the gap between the pipe and axle..?
-
Nice! What camera is it? I'm eyeing up some compact cams..
-
Get rid of that gay oil filter tray dude, it just gets in the way!

Hey Guys, My GT will shortly be on the road and I really wanna get this issue sorted! The exhaust clangs over the axle and I think sometimes by the mid section (not 100% sure on the latter though) -I have the system heatwrapped BUT I ran out of heatwrap before I managed to do the back box section, so I'll be ordering more and doing that asap! -I replaced the old bushes with new Powerflex ones which I though would prevent it from happening but I guess not Any ideas as to how I can take extra measures to stop the clanging? NOTE: While testing the car, the rear springs were knackered which w
