  1. All apart from standard top spoiler, aftermarket kits really need a chunky spoiler imo
  2. Thanks for the comments guys! I won't deny it's gonna get a few layers of wax to make up for the time I've been away LOL because of uni work I think the only meets I can make it to this year are the MM meet, any Welsh meet and the August Bank Holiday one but you should see me sometime Yeah they look awesome, great service as always Luke! I'll get some pics when I fit them! And thanks! Cheers buddy! They were off Ebay, but one of the bulbs they sent was incorrect. I was supposed to chase them up about it a few weeks ago, but been busy with uni etc. Once I email them to let them know what bulbs should be in a Starlet kit, I'll link you to the kit :] Thanks Liam! Progress today: -ISO lead fitted & Stereo nicked from the NA as it's off the road lol -Discovered the leaky tyres aren't leaky after all haha -Fitted a plywood boot floor to make it flat -Got it valeted ready to tomorrow's VIC! Car will be heading down from Cardiff to Gloucester/Bristol tomorrow (and if it passes the VIC and gets taxed), down to Southampton to pick me up from uni! If you see my uncle in the car give him a flash (of the lights..before anyone suggests otherwise haha) Wish me/it luck!
  3. Awesome! I just need to get a new clutch then as mine is slipping a bit sometimes
  4. This car is gorgeous! ;) Is it running uprated leads, fuel pump and FPR at all? Just wondering if I need that lot before wacking mine up from 0.8bar
  5. If I come down Ryan's on Sunday yeah ;) (I should be because I want the Decat fitted again asap ;))
  6. Update! Finally got the car home from the garage, was really starting to get annoyed at how long it took! List of the work done for MOT: -Catalytic Converter fitted (thanks Taggy!) -Corroded rear springs removed and replaced with standard springs (thanks ryan_lang) -Replaced Speedo bulbs which were blown -New brake line & brakes bled -Tail light replaced -Rear foglight fitted As you can see it wasn't terribly major stuff but since I wasn't there to do the work myself & my uncle was busy with work we had to shell out for labour which was hefty ;) But the main thing is it's out of the way! The car is fully insured, got the VIC check tomorrow afternoon, iA it passes then it'll be taxed same day! Also back from uni tomorrow for Easter break so I can finally get to enjoy the car ;)
  7. Took about 3-4 hours for me including stripping a lot of the front of the car out of the way and fabricating/mounting custom brackets
  8. 3000miles/5000km Jamie 3000km would be ridiculous! lol
  9. Yeah that's how much I tap the throttle! I'll be driving about in it hopefully the next few weeks so I'll report back with any success hehe
  10. Can't get enough of the sound of this, I want! Haha My GT slightly pops when you accelerate up to about 4k in 2nd/3rd and let it decelerate whilst ever so slightly tapping the throttle quickly. That was a day after fitting the new exhaust and I've yet to heat wrap my back box pipe so I'm hoping that may make a difference with it being run it too
  11. What camera did you use to take those pics? Has it got a fisheye lens or it is just fisheye effect?
  12. Yeah I got rear brace before RARB and ALK, they finished it off
  13. The RARB alone won't cut body roll that much, because it's the top of the suspension you need to tie together with a brace. I'd personally buy a proper rear brace and just a GT/Glanza front brace
  14. ^In addition to that, a rear brace contributes massively. There's obviously going to be some body roll, which I suppose would only be further eliminated by using coilovers?
  15. I don't have any idea on cutting springs. I thin bucketep91 did it on his EP95? The RARB/ALK/Rear brace combo will defo sort your issues out though, my NA is only let down by power now really!
  16. If you like it now just wait I don't slow down for corners and roundabouts, I speed up haha
  17. Can't tell you how much of a difference they made in words haha (along with a rear brace ) It corners like a fly lol
  18. RARB & ALK no question. You will love your car and not want to waste money on more springs, the body roll will still be there without the Whiteline bits! EDIT: I'm going for the lowest known springs on the GT, 40mm PIs which actually settle at about 45mm. Only going for those then the Whiteline stuff when I can afford it
  19. Had to share this
  20. Why not try the ECU first?
  21. I wouldn't tbh HardcoreEP as an article saying the Jap tuners often but the UV device thingies that made the ECU useless if opened?
  22. I dunno how but the FMIC and spoiler have made a MASSIVE difference to how the wheels look, I love it But move the plate
  23. What are you using? I use Collinite 476 but only applied two coats, one 3 months after the other
  24. Those exhaust systems are designed for a Glanza/GT so won't fit! Custom exhaust is your only option The only exhaust manifold designed for the 4efe was the Hotshots mani I believe but you are not likely to find one lol Believe me go for a Corolla inlet mani, custom 2" exhaust, decat and you should see 90bhp
  25. Ebay, but you'll need a completely new custom exhaust as they are designed for paseo engines Also there is not really any proven gains on a Starlet engine with an OBX manifold, a decat and cat back exhaust would be better
