    Hi In New Here!

Welcome! Post up some pics/the link of the ad if it's on the internet buddy..what's the spec? Or is it completely standard, because 24,000 is lowww!
  4. Welcome!
  5. Yeah I went to the local parts shop, they didn't have the correct wrench cup so I had to make do with a chain wrench thingy GlanzaKidB77, I bought Castrol GTX 4L for about £16 from Tesco, it's important you get good quality oil especially on a Turbo
  6. It's worth doing it yourself seeing as Turbo's should have oil changed every 3000 miles I serviced my car for the first time a few weeks ago, really easy! The only tricky bit was getting the old oil filter out
  7. Okay thanks
  8. Thanks dude! It was my first time spraying anything, don't think it went too bad Check it out! JDM detailing Clay! Gonna give the car a full wash, clay, polish and wax once it stops raining later, hopefully I'll get some pics up tomorrow as it's supposed to be sunny!
  9. Niice! Good to hear your converting it to Manual What stuff did you use on the wheels? Looks like it did a really good job!
  10. Thanks! Yeah it's well worth it if you're patient enough
  11. Cool man, what bulbs types are they? Did you do the bottom sidelights too? Any chance you know what bulbs those take? Oh and do your bottom lights light up when you brake or do they stay dim? Thanks Amjad
  12. Reading stuff like this is what reinforces in me the desire to get a GT/Glanza next
  13. Oh right, is that because they're not constantly on? I might leave them for now, but I really want to get the Red LEDS
  14. Hi all, I am looking to replace all my rear light bulbs with LED ones and I want to know which bulbs types (ie the name 382 etc..) that I need? I've got '98 spec rear lights on my N/A. I'm not sure whether they're the full clusters or just lenses glued onto N/A cluster, but I have pics on the last page of my build thread.. -My top light in the cluster is dual filament Brake/Sidelight -Middle is Indicator -Bottom on both clusters are reverse. -Middle brake light on parcel shelf is currently being used as a foglight. I will be putting on my Glanza tailgate soon and will be using the numberplate surround reverse lights, leaving me to convert the bottom lights in my clusters to sidelights. The other thing I want to know, is do Glanza's have the bottom light in the clusters just as sidelights or as a dual filament Brake/Sidelight too? As I want to convert my bottom bulbs to Sidelights OR Brake/Sidelights depending on what the Glanza originally has. Thanks Amjad
  15. Cheers guys :harhar: Lol sorry bro I love my rear lights, especially after what I've just done with them Anup thanks man, should look 10x better once I've clayed, polished and waxed it I'm hoping to get it sorted before Japfest if I can get some money saved up! @Dean, I don't think they'll charge me for a new back-box seeing as it was their error. I dropped my car off to them around midday, but the boss said because a guy didn't turn up to work, they were a bit backlogged. So I said I'd leave my car there and for them to call me to come back just before they start the work. They didn't call so by the time I got there, they'd already welded the exhaust on at a straight angle Before I left I spoke to the guys how I wanted it, they forgot to call me back lol. I then made them take it off and put it on at an angle (still thinking the baffle was removeable!). Then found out it wasn't lol Anyway I might just ask them to sort the back box if I can't get the money for the centre section, so fingers crossed it should be looking perfect before Japfest! Rant over haha Hats off to you man Yeah the bumper/tailgate is next on the to-do list! Okey dokey, got some more updates guys! Bought a load of sprays and been spraying a lot over the past few days haha I decided to do; - All Wiper Arms; Satin Black - Scuttle Panel; Satin Black - Door Mirrors; Satin Black - Centre console and Dial Surround; Gloss black - Front Splitter; Gloss Black And also to make some '98 Spec indicators, and modify my '98 Rear lights Now for pics! (Sorry a few of them are a bit poor as they're only phone pics) Mirrors Before Mirrors After Centre Console before Centre Console after (looks a lot better in real life, although it does like the dust lol) Dial surround after (sorry forgot to take a before pic!) Indicators before; very grey! Indicators done (these were a bitch to do, chrome spray takes AGES to dry!) Indicators after Rear lights before; again looking quite grey! Dis-assembly Rear lights assembly after spraying! And done! (A lot shinier and not grey!) Weather's been a bit crap lately so once it's sunny I'll get some pics of the Wiper arms, Scuttle panel and Splitter! What do you guys think?
  16. Snap
  17. Does anyone know what bulb types in the rear lenses are? ie the brake lights, indicator lights and reverse/fog lights?
  18. Thanks Chanelle I'll give it a go now
  19. As above, does anyone know how I can remove my rear lights? I've taken the bulb holders out of the back, but can't see any bolts or anything Thanks, Amjad
  20. If you needed a longer hose, then that'll be the sensor! I can't remember where I bolted the earth, just find anywhere where there's unpainted metal and bolt it on
  21. I didn't use any brackets and my mani is fine
  22. I'm hoping to come down to this and watch
