i see, well i would love 200 bhp but like you say, pockets are not that deep right now. Nice idea about the hi/lo boost pipes but mine have not been changed. Think i will look for a boost controller and get a fcd and actutar. Cheers for the help

Is a fuel cut a cheap fix?? Porting the waste gate? Is it a send away to get it done properly or something to be tackled myself? Should I save for a aftermarket ecu,is that the best way to go?

Well exhaust fitted, took a bit of effort as the hangers on the exhaust were different to the ones on the old exhaust so we made a bracket up to fit it. But i am now getting the eml light coming on the dash if i rev high in 3rd 4th gear so gonna get the code and work it out. Thinking over boosting but any info would be good.

Tidy, will do that tonight when i get home. Surly just a decat and exhaust system cant warrent installing a fcd already? Must be something else surly? or is this a common thing? does that mean i am over boosting?

Will look into to a check up. Not really sure how its done but will have a look. Your helps great so at east I have a start. So I dont neef anthing to do a check on the fault code? edit just found a guide!!!!

Well once on it does seem sluggish. Almost like its on lo boost. Are they easy to wire up then?

Since fitting powergetter sometimes when I changr gear at high revs the light comes on. But goes out once I start up again. I have decat and powergetter. Any ideas? Fcd needed?

Did look awesome when finished but once I drove around for a week or so the wheels needed to be polished up again...and again....and again. Which sucked. May keep an eye out for t pot wheels, and also speedlines. Keep a oem theme going.

Yea i had some before on my old starlet years ago see pic And i also poilshed up my yaris alloys looked epic!!! Took me ages to do but well worth it. Yea maybe some in a a dark grey or maybe polished again...............lol

Those are nice, I have seen an old type of wheel which I like so may invest in them. I like the rotaas with a 4 spoke on them but I see another v with them on so dont wanna copy

Its does not scrap, as long as I go slow its ok. Getting up I have to go at an angle. Back wheel lifts up and then I am in. Gonna dig it in the summer. Make it easier to drive up. Yea hoping the exhaust will sound good. I have a decat so just manifold to go.

Little update, i made a nice purchase last weekend in the form of sock's fujitsubo power getter. Should be fitted tomorrow so may add a picture of it soon. And my latest problem with my drive way Still on the look out for alloys but i really cant decide as yet. I wanna be different but its hard to choose. Also done a small service a few weeks ago so the engine is nice and healthy. More to come soon Carl

Too be honest it really plays on my mind that if i mod it i will be losing a clean standard example of a V. But then i know that its a clean so its perfect to mod!!!!!

Socks i was reading your guide to 200bhp, tidy piece that,very handy. I have added a decat but not sure what to do next engine wise. Thinking finish exhaust system off then add fmic and mani. What manifolds best for the ct9, and should i avoid mild steel? I have a mate who can build me a exhaust system and i wondered what the buddyclub exhaust system had on it, in the way of diameter of the pipe and silencers? Watched a video of liam ds v and like the sound it produces. I remember when i added a decat to my old vxr its popped like mad on each gear change but nothin on the v

Nothing exciting but few things have been going on in recent months. RSR panhard fitted,Rear quarter glanza decals fitted, removed the awful chrome things on the doors and just changed oil and oil filter. Adjusted ride height too so another 20mm down at the front and 15mm at the rear. Still not decided on the wheels yet. Fancy something different to set it apart but cant decide. What setting do people with meister r coilovers run??I was 16 front and rear but am now 10 and 10.

Evening all, has anyone modified the existing door pockets to house 6.5" speakers? Or anyone got a picture of how they have added speakers to the door cards. I did make pods for 6x9 years ago in my old starlet but i really wanna oem look now. pictures would be handy for ideas. Cheers Carl
