Evening all, well heres what i am thinking and would like some advice as to what is needed to complete a sleeper. Thing is i have a tidy sr which needs a few bits doing but its so tidy i keep thinking maybe i should sell and get glanza instead of ruining what seems a decent sr which is original. If i were to turbo it i would leave as much on the outside standard as possible, but i just wonder would it just be easier to put some money aside and get a glanza. My sr is a 98 so to complete the conversion i would need engine, looms, stalks, fuel pump????? Is it better to get the looms from a cert

Do it the original colour. or something different to what a standard glanza is.

Sorry to hear about all the probs your getting with this engine, but if you could give me some advice, as i am looking at getting the glanza plate surround and noticed you have fitted it to yours. Did you have to cut any thing or was it just a quick change over from the normal n/a rear???

I have from a picture of it done on a black sr, and it looks good and from the thread i see he removed it at some point and nothin looked like it had been cut? Will message him. Cheers tho Have you got a pic of it fitted?

Has anyone retro fitted one to the n/a boot? If so how did you go about wiring up the lights? Also how does it fitted???

I have seen some ep82 lowering springs for sale, so am i right in saying they will fit my ep91?

I had ago on it using my control pad and manual transmission and after about 10laps the best i did was 2:28ish, so miles off the 2:16. Think i need a proper setup

Just been out and had a quick measure up, 28cm long x 53cm wide thats including the curve over the arch. And the gap for the trim is 7cm

Cheers tho i was hoping someone had sprayed it black too. Oh well will keep looking

Which are the best lowering springs????I had PIs on my old starlet and it seemed very bouncy. Any advances since then? Did a quick search and not much came back. Seems tein are good but not much low? Thinking also about just trimming the standard starlet seats but adding some support to the sides as they are abit flat. Think black with blue top stitching, will update once i start trimming.

So everything works your way???I wanna do this in the future and really i want the easiest way of doing it. As if i do get to do it i reckon it will be a start friday evening finish sunday night.......hopefully

Yeah i am thinking about spraying the alloys again. Will be trimming the seats once i choose what theme to go with. Thinking black with a blue stitching detail but undecided. Have got a some alcantara at work so maybe use that. Oh and i want to change the lenses on the rear lights, thinking the ones with 2 red lights at the top and the bottom 2 clear. Not sure on the cat back system as the last owner got it from toyota.

Did you use a certain spec paint or was it just a random silver paint??? As i am looking to paint mine soon so needing any hints as to the best colours.

Yea i thought that when i see your topic last week. Any one know if the glanza seats sit lower when fitted????as i feel i am sitting very high at the moment.

Well have finally got round to taking a few pictures of the sr. Needs to be detailed as yet but waiting on a decent weather to come. Its was last owned by a guy at fensport so he added a few bits over its time including blitz panel filter, gt calipers, black diamond disks, brand new cat back tte exhaust. Going to remove the sr details as very faded. Maybe lower it a tad more but not sure yet as,but as you will see with a pic of my other car, its a struggle getting out of the drive. Wheels need a refurb so thats next on list of things to do. Our fiesta leaving the driveway....problems f

Oh my mind has been pt to peace tonight as i have been reading up on the ticking/knocking noise which seemed to appear today on my sr, worried it was something bad but from what i have read its injectors. Thats a weight off my mind. ;) Got it booked in next week for a cambelt change next week as seems it was last changed at 31k, and its now on 72k. Will start a thread up at the weekend....oh first mod was removing the wack fensport sticker from the front.

Cheers yeah the sr seems in really good nick and has been treated to a few goodies by the last owner,tho i have removed the fensport sun strip Does anyone know if the sr stickers on the sides can be brought from somewhere???As mine are faded so be good to get a new set. Only for the sides tho. Oh and another thing...can anything be done to the ariel on the starlet as this one on mine seems so long!!!!Thinking about cutting it half way and putting the black tip back on.
