BUUUMP!
where are the updates?
-
u can also tape the new speedo cable on to the old one, so when u pull the old one out.
u pull the new one directly into place.

http://www.toyodiy.com/parts/g_J_1997_TOYO...91-AGMQY_1.html
then click manifold...
there u find the turbo and all things u need
-
Okey, probably u have a buckled wheel or something...
but in the other topic u said the car handled well around corners?
so the handling seems to be just fine with the coilies
check your wheel allignment and get the wheels ballanced.
when the wheels are going to be ballanced u can see also if they aren't buckled or not.

Okey, so I hit fuel cut one time when adjusting the actuator...
so 34 is sorted.
I dont have an oil temp gauge, but the temp of the coolant is just fine, just below the middle.
but 42 means No Verhicle Speed Sensor?
then it has to be something with my ECU or something?
thnx for the info mate.
this is what I found on the dutch forum about it:
Code: 42Signal: Vehicle Speed Sensor
Diagnosis: No speed sensor signal to ECU when loaded driving condition with engine speeds 2000 to 5000 rpm. for 8 seconds or more.
Common Trouble Area: VSS,ECU
-
Okey, my check engine light pops up when driving ~75 mph (max speed on dutch freeways)
I just did a diagnostics test, and came out with 2 fault codes.
this is what I got:
34: turbo pressure signal
42: VSS, 2000 to 5000 rpm, coolant temp over 80 degrees, injector duration over certain value, and no VSS signal.
can some of u guys tell me what I have to do to fix this problem?
I don't have any clue how to solve this?
any help is appreciated!
thanks in advance...

jup engine bay is a bit tidier (good english?)
next step is removing the airco (after my holiday in Italy)
and fitting the air intake in the frontbumper
-
mounted the rocker cover
just a nice shot
-
yep they will fit, but keep in mind that u'll need the top mounts of a GT because the glanza's have slightly different top mounts and won't fit!
but the GT top mounts will fit on your glanza
-
U mean the 2E-E?
because the 2E is a carb engine so that doesn't have injectors and an ECU..
mayb u can find some info on: www.toyodiy.com
Good luck

^^ anti lift kit, and if u don't mind a bit more lowness to your car, a lower arm bar
-
i'm not sure on the arb? it's a fixed one if that makes any difference?
It should make a difference in theory...
I had one modified for my ep71 and wasn't even near to flat
but I didn't noticed any difference on a mates ep81...
so it would be fine
-
And a picture of the bumper back on...
was a pain in the ass ;)
I hate to cut my bumper....!
(bad quality pic)

I don't know why, But every starlet that I have lowered (about 6 times) was the back end lower then in front...
can't get a finger in the arch on the V atm

still no updates on the turbo, as I'm waiting for my HDI intercooler
picked op a set 16'' today, they are for my missus ep81, but I like them on my glanza too...
they need a good clean though
