  5. power steering belt wont need changing aslong as its not fraid etc, as it doesnt run off the water pump
  6. if it looks fine you can do it without changing the pump, although while the belt is off, you might as well do it mate, there not expensive so if you do it as well you wont have to do it later on when the belt is back on.
  7. you can deffo confirm me dude, if theres a few camping il be doing it as well, if not il just drive home. either way count me in for deffo buddy.

Phil Phil Phil, i feel the same about mine, were i keep saying to myself, right, im not spending anymore on it, im going to enjoy the car, enjoy what i have done with it etc, but it doesnt work mate, EVER!! I do see were your coming from though mate with regards to laying off the wallet for a while, i think you should enjoy the feel of the turbo side of life for a while and then think about it after. mine has been off the road for the last 6 months, and its killing me seeing it stuck in the garage all the time, once mines on the road, its staying on the road until the insurance runs out, the
  10. christ reviving the old threads lol!!! I just ripped the pump out, then did all the pipework afterwards, took a few hours to do but worth it. study your car before you do it mate, look at were the pipes go first etc...
  11. oh right ok brilliant. were can i get a sequential shifter from as well?? lol cheers
  12. ok, I've found a company who will build the new gears for my dog box complete with the shaft out of Billet, which is great, although postage is an arm and a leg lol. quick question i have though, is about the clutch, now when your shifting up the gears you just pull it straight into gear without touching the clutch, but when you change down gears do you use the clutch then? I've seen videos about them and people are using it to go down rather than up. any more info on this guys would be great, cheers... Dan

  20. ok first thing, OUCH!!!! second, rather than spending money fixing it, buy yourself a shell, or even another EP82 if you can afford it and swap all the parts over etc... then phone your insurance they will write it off and give you the money, and when you break your one for bits etc you will b able to regain money that way. how did it happen??
  21. the wheels are still on my mind, il just keep an eye out for some, but i am considering real light weight ones. as for the engine i got the 5E cheap, like £150 cheap and it was working when i took it out of the car, I've had it sent away to Strike Engines, and i sent them all the parts needed, all brand new, ie. rods, pistons, belt, pullys, gaskets etc, pretty much the lot, and they got to work on the head and block, complete mirror polish, regrounded crank, baffled sump etc... £1545 thats including the parts i bought. i really wanna get to the 400 mark, but i know its alot to
