its not just my mum you get people who genuinley think your a nutter, i over heard 1 of my mates telling some1 that we we doin 120 on the mway and i was thinking to myself hold on my cars limited to 112 lol. dont bother witht he markers mate just dont go through any speed cameras at more than 50kph lol. id bet the majority of people on here leave it in kph, 1ce its been like that a while you will get used to it and itll be wierd when you jump in another car lol. plus you get a laugh when people actually think its mph lol. anyway im off to my bed im absoulutley smashed lol

glad you got it mate because you wer starting to make me confused lol but im fucking pissed lol. you can get the speedo convertors from ebay. I've never used 1 of them so dont know how easy they are to fit or how accurate they are, some of them claim to take away the speed limiter at 112 mph, I've got indiglo dials and I've left mines in kph but have the mph face in because i was plannin on changing it but fuck it! you get used to it. and its funny when you have your mum in the car and she thinks your doin 100m when on the way to asda lol );))

i know what your saying mate 100kph= 62 mph. from the way you have explained it, your actual speedo mechanism has never been converted. but the OEM speedo DIAL has been changed for 1 that has the numbers in a different position so that it reads in mph rather than kph. the dial has been changed at some point. but as i said the indiglo dials come with 2 speedo faces. mph and kph and if you put both of them side by side youl see there is no difference atall ie 30 kph is in the same place as 30mph 40kph is in the same place as 40mph and so on. so what you are doin is putin in a speedo face that would match the original dial that was in before some1 else has changed it to a completley different facethat will make it read in mph. so if you keep the indiglo dials in it doesnet matter what 1 you use mph or kph, it will still read in kph until you get a speedo convertor as the 2 dials are exactly the same

when you buy the indiglo dials you get the 2 speedo faces, mph and kph, both are exactly the same the numbers are in the same position, the converter changes them. from what you are saying about them already being converted, there have been dials manufactured before that do the converting for you without using a speedo convertor just the numbers are positioned differentley if you know what i mean. so your speedo hasnet been converted its still reading the way it was from the factory but some1 at somepoint has changed the dial face to read in mph. what you need is a speedo convertor or just leave it as it is and find out how to convert it in your head lol. just out of interest mate is it a GT or a Glanza cause I've never seen those mph dials in a glanza before

im guessing your car is still in killometers and you have baught mph dials? replacment dials such as indiglo 1's come with mph and kph and you chose which 1 you want to use, but both are exactly the same, if thats the case then what you need is a speedo converter. its not the dials that change the spedometer its the mechanism behind the dials.

i dont think they are that bad to be honest, they can shift, they definetley arent slow. i had a race a few weeks back with a vectra vxr. those are really quick and i think the best looking of all the vxr's

ouch thats a sore 1! glad you got it sorted bud. thats an impressive figure too, bet it shifts. theres another 1 the same colour with almost the same reg N*** PUD my mate had it a few months back and sold it to a guy up your way. it had a hks fmic and ghaslty 17's on it and civic type R seats. you ever seen it?

let me see how you get on with butchering the standard subframes mate lol i did that with mines and the seats sat too high, and it was a pain to do it lol i baught universal sparco rails and they will do the trick, just need to get them fitted. look at my thread to see my seats fitted car is looking great mate well done

they cost me...... wait for it.... nothing a boy i know baught a wide arch corsa with a red top in it and they wer in it. i had a set of cobra monaco s bucket seats in red and black too but they were fixed back and i told him to get his car stripped out to save wieght and all that rubbish n get the bodykit off and told him the cobras wer lightwieght and all that bollocks and offered to give him 1 of my cobras for the 2 recliners haha thats what he gets lol

had the car valeted today had to get them seats cleaned properly, it never showed up on the pics but they were really manky lol and its a nice night so i decided to go take some photos:D im delighted with the car atm, 1ce the fcd and rrfpr is fitted i think ill leave it alone for a while and enjoy it !!!!!!!although i i do fancy a change of wheels if anyone fancies a swap let me know what youve got!!!!!!
