as title says, i was taking the turbo off to port the waste gate (ct9) and I've split the return hose. i cut it before the split and tried to stretch it over and it just covers it but doesnt go rite up to the sump. when i got everything back together there was a bubbling noise coming from the turbo and a wee bit of oil dripping out of the return hose, i took it a wee drive and under boost there is white smoke! so firstly what size is the hose i need and where will i get 1 and will i have caused any further damage

i had a problem when trying to sell my old car i put the number on the window and i had idiots calling me at the wind up. i kept there number when they never witheld it 1 time and i went to the shops at my g/f's bit and fnd the number and watched to see which 1 of the wee boys answerd it, walked over gave him a slap on the mouth and a kick up the arse and it all stopped, but getting the number blocked works too

Is There A Guide On How To Fit Indiglo Dials To A Gt

take out the dial surround and cluster to get to the dials, unscrew the little screws to release the old dials (you can leave them in if you want and put the new ones on top) put in new dials and screw them back in. now you just have to power them, the little box that comes with them has 2 wires 1 is the power the other is earth, i connected them to the back of the rear fog light switch, so when i turn on my lights the dials come on. the other wires on the box connect up to the wires on the dials, you will have about 6 of the wires on the box but you only need 3. that should be it just put everything back together carfully not to stretch or bend the wires coming from the dials as they are very cheaply made and sensitive( 1 of mines are broken and it pisses me off) hope this helps -
i wouldnt think it would be a problem if you where running standard boost, not to sure though

its my own fault lol i wondered why when the standard mani came out the 2 bolts where still in it and the other 2 werent i realised half way throught hat i should have done that with the new 1 and i tried to get them back out or even back in but it was no use, im just gona stick it in a garage tomorro and gewt it sorted im not touching it again lol thanks gary

I've been out all nite fitting my new mani, it was a nightmare lol im no good at all this stuf haha, the 2 middle bolts at the top wer fouling the 2nd and 3rd runners and i just managed to get them on then when it came to the four turbo to mani bolts i couldnt get the mani and turbo to sit flush together because i was stupid and never put the bolts into the mani first to line the turbo up i tried to just screw them rite up from the bottom, from the turbo upwards and now theyre stuck in and i cant get them any tighter, i tried taking the nuts back off to get the bolts out or even in a bit more but couldnt move them so theres still a little gap in there and if i tighten it anymore im going to sheer the nuts. I've had to put everything back together, im never touching the car again! if anything needs done im puttin it in a garage! how will the bolts come back out will they need to be drilled? its only 2 that are in the back right and front left.

just got the turbo out and old mani off (took me forever lol) that bottom left bolt is a cunt to get to! had a look at the turbo and the blades are white, what does this mean? running rich or lean or something? the turbo is in excellent condition, no shaft play and no cracks on the wastegate i was quite surprised lol anyway whats the torque settings for the bolts? also since I've taken the turbo out will i have to prime it again before staring up and how do i do it?

just read over on tggt some1 couldnt have his afr checked with an autobahn decat because there is only 1 bung for the lambda sensor and not 1 for the exhaust gas temp sensor. is this true? ive got an autobahn decat with only 1 bung and was told it would be fine.

if you do buy it if i where you id just go for the glanza front end conversion while your building it back up. it may cost a couple hundred quid sourcing parts but im sure youl find them. let us know how u get on mate

thats nasty! just shows you how fucked up the system is, my dads best mate was killed 4 years ago by a drink driver, he was crossing the road and the police estimated the guy was doing 50ish in a little side street, dragged him the whole length of the street before noticeing he hit him, considering mick was 6ft8 the guy must have been wasted. the drink driver had been convicted of drink driving before and was still on a ban, he was givin a further 2 year ban and a 250 pound fine. for murder basically!

was that a fixed GATSO camera? im almost sure that it is illegal to take a photo of the front of your car to use as evidence. maybe because of how fast you where going they couldnt ignore it, if it where me id fight it as i think its illegal to take a photo of your face, I've been flashed a good few of times going through speed cameras facing me and it never comes back. but if you do get done for it mate you cant say you didnt deserve it but i do think some people have takin it too far on here, yes it was stupid but we all speed, anyone who says they dont are liars but posting up on here is almost as stupid as going that fast in the 1st place.
