im a fanny! and why did no1 tell me u only need to undo 1 of the 2 12mm bolts and then the calliper lifts up for the pads to go in lol job done anyway and thanks for every1s help

thought i might need a new 1, f*ckin pain in the ass these brakes lol. its the drivers side thanks bud

no ill give it a go i. i dont have much left of the head on the bolt to be honest so even if i can get it loose i might not get it tightened again thanks for the quick reply bud.

jammed rite in, its not budging, didnt even get a half turn on it think thats why that side was worn more than the other. its the top 1 as i say I've filed down at both sides and set about it with mold grips but it wont budge atall just keeps threading away

attempted to change my front brake pads today and ive threaded 1 of the 12mm bolts on the caliper, ive tried to file it down at both sides and grab it with mold grips but its not budging, any ideas or am i going to have to get a new caliper?

glad u got it off ok mate, sounds like a pointless and very random thing and it wasn't just your car that has been targeted, if i were u id keep an eye on it but its not like some1s out to get u.

well just got my car back from the mot station today, i was expecting a fail, but it passed:D only advisory was a small leak of exhaust gases which he fixed for me anyway. my car has a decat and passed no probs lol :-S i didnt want to ask him about it but how did it pass? also my sill is rusty due to a bad repair job but i told him about this I've order a new sill and hes fitting it for me so he let it go good times
