i had th same problem with 1 of my hybrids rotating like that when it was warm i just braced it and never had a problem again. weve all been in your position at some point with these cars, i went through 2 hybrids and a ct9, a head gasket then bottom end failure in the space of 6 months i paid a lot of money sorting it just to sell it on because i couldnt go through with breaking it to quote liam "starlets really are pricks!"

didnt you leave the actuator connected to the wastegate arm while trying to undo the nut? as that would make the whole arm spin. its an easy job to remove the actuator but you shouldnt need to

i think im going to paint the centers black as that was the original plan and will look better with the D1 nuts wooooo another piece to the puzzle off to toyota for headlights next week then ill get my fenders and varis bumper painted and fit the front end! cant wait niether can my nighbours to get the parts are out of the close haha will pm you as soon as the lights come off amjad;)

ive had white wheels mate they wer a bitch to keep clean plus not a fan of white on silver tbh and im planning on painting the bay blue when i do the conversion anyway

im swinging towards doing the centres black as i think the nuts will just be a bit much all blue aswell

ok small update, i started on the wheels today. Was planning on doing the lips blue and the spokes black masked off and primered lips done then when doing the last 1 i wondered what theyd be like all blue i quite like them like that but i have blue D1 nuts and think it'd be a bit much. what do you think?

the C clip on the actuator comes off easily but its very easy to lose so be carefull somtimes it just pings away and you wont find it. when thats off loosen the bolt and shorten the actuator arm a little bit at a time and keep an eye on your boost guage

nah it wont fuck it mate. didnt you replace the gaskets when you changed the mani? it isnt costly to fix mate gaskets are pretty cheap 30 quid or so

paypal is a joke, mines done the same a while back and ive confirmed my details again and again and its still the same! i also tried to refund some1 on here money on 3 occasions and it wouldnt work! then i got 3 bank charges because they tried to take the money from my bank account instead of my paypal account which had enough funds!
