i got done a few years back on a dual carrige way! they changed a part of it to a 30 zone for 400 yards and i . seen the cop at the side of the road and i kept it at 45mph then he stopped me and showed me the reading and i said "and?" he says "its a 30 here" wasnt a happy bunny. there are ways to get around the fines nd points. a retired traffic cop wrote a book on it with very clever letters you can send to the fiscal and get off with them

if its any use to you i still have my old engine. it soun a bearing and kncakered 1 of the shells so everything else should be fine

not good! sorry to hear mate! my engine gave up last month the day after its MOT when i was due to sell it a week later! couldnt have came at a worse time. i was in the same boat as you so i know how your feeling. i got a low milage engine cheap and gary_ep91 fitted it for me for a great price! its running mint now and will be back up for sale soon. try not to think about it for a day or 2 and sort your head out then get back to it and fix it as i know you love your wee car! it'll be worth it in the end

why not put a thread up for a swap/ part ex for a glanza? rather than trying to sell your car then hunting for a glanza. u spent an age looking for that GT. i would have swapped my glanza for a gt if i didnt have my heart set on a 4wd. (i almost did)
