how about a pinned thread in the for sale section with the names and contact details (website etc) of people that it is safe to buy stuff from? like people on eBay, tgtt etc? could also have feedback etc (but that may be too much hassle)

i didn't mean make them a moderator for the status, it's just so that everyone would know they're the organiser/co-ordinator, hence why i mentioned having forum-specific ones rather than with mod privileges over the whole board

if anyone wants to help me out that would be great, i need someone with a NA starlet to come to a mini meet please, as i will have to do a mini photoshoot with 3 starlets: a Glanza, a GT and a NA... i already know people with Glanzas and GTs but nobody with a NA... so if anyone lives in the Kent area and would want to meet up in about 2 or 3 weeks time, let me know? also it will need to be during the day and at night but since it gets dark so early and quickly that shouldn't be a problem any takers?

Was doing research about car clubs as part of my graphics coursework... went on the Lancer Register site and found that each region has its' own organiser, as well as a track day organiser and a national shows organiser... i think this is quite a good idea! Seeing as on most regional meet forums there is one or two people who always try to get people to meet but everyone else is like meh. Do you think we should implement this on here? I'm assuming that the organiser is the one responsible for arranging the meet e.g. getting everyone together, phoning up the place where people are meeting (for example) and sorting out other details. It would make everything a bit more organised rather than people waffling around trying to arrange people to meet. Comments/opinions?

i'm trying not to make my views public on this, but the whole thing is ridiculous. since when do postmen ask for ID when they deliver a parcel? i sign for mum's shit plenty and my name doesn't start with the same letter as her. so whatever. like i said, the whole thing is pathetic.
