  1. Well, here she is, picked her up last weekend as a non runner. Total travelling time of 13hrs to get there and back! Pulled it on A frame which was suprisingly easy! Was bought as a non runner due to a cracked head, so the first thing I did when i got her back to the garage was start to take her apart! As you can see it has a brand new wepr manifold and a speedvision hybrid. Im picking up a new head for it this afternoon, and gonna figure out what to do with all that cabling around the back of the engine and hopefully give it a good degreasing as the rocker cover seal has never be

  4. Yeah, i pretty much assumed they were the same, pics look the same and all the details are the same. But to buy them from maxspeeding is 100quid cheaper... Now has anyone you know of used them? any issues with notching etc? Im welll aware you get what you pay for, but if they have been tried and tested i wouldnt be too bothered about using them!

  6. so how did you lot get quotes for 150quid? Ive put mine in, 20, 2 years ncb, 3 points, and they wanted 1500quid!

Sorry to disapoint, My V, 0.8 boost, FMIC, EFI pipe HKS filter, exhaustnot decatted, and std manifold, made 151.1bhp, So brads is about right as he has more done etc. And i dont know how familiar you are with brands of rolling road etc, but dyno dynamics Rollers cannot be altered to give a higher or lower reading to customers. and i would say that is a low reading for a hybrid, although on a std topmount etc that would be where the problems are.
  8. That shounds brilliant if we could have a set to print off, to see if its close, i just need to find a way of getting it printed now! lol. Unless you know that it will fit under 15" Rays Engineering TE37's?

    thats the link i needed! thanks bud! a guy i know is running this on his rally car and says how awesome it is... people complain about them but its usually due to poor building of the ecu to begin with from them!

  14. how would i turn the boost down, i dont get how it means about the actuator threads, also what bits do i need to fit an oil temp gauge? and i had a look today and it seems to have a jam fcd which ive read is crap, and id assume the boost still needs turning down?

  17. thats useful, thanks mate, so need a wide band afr, i geussed that about 1.1 bar, thats why i wanted the boost controller this weekdn so im not tempted to use the high boost button! So far i have an Apexi exhaust system (inc decat) And a HKS Induction kit, with HKS plugs. (crap i know!) what else am i needing?
  18. hey guys right, i have LOADS of questions, im usually more at home playing around with my 4 pot VVC'd rover engine! so please forgive me right, i have just got my Glanza V, and have had a few problems already, cracked head, but i think i am getting that sorted!   19. what is the best electronic boost controller you can buy? needs to be reasonably priced and do the job but im not too fussed about makes or anything like that. and what is the most boost that should be run as standard?
