  4. Whats up with yours? Mine is never ending, 2 years of not been able to drive it and i just want it finished now!
  5. best pay a body shop to do it then, im not confident enough to do it
  6. I have spent 3 days cutting back, polishing and waxing it lol, you even read my fb status about it ;) Nah il pay someone to do that, really not confident enough to do that lol
  7. Its yours for a 5er... lol. Im just chatting to iddy now as i cant understand why its gone chalky again! It was chalky from been stood for 2 years so i cut it back etc and as you can see in my build thread it was gleaming, its now rained again and bits of it have gone back to been chalky again, And i just dont get where im going wrong of it its just the paint or what? Was feeling really keen to get on with it tonight until i saw that!
  8. Well, after spending 3 days cutting it back with paint renovator and polishing it and waxing it, it then bloody rained on the monday so i couldnt finish the rear end (no biggie) So today if finish work to get home and my car is fucken filthy Not only that, its gone cloudy again on some bits, so now ive got to go over the whole bloody thing again. Im seriously not impressed. Im trying to find a flexi for my Apexi Exhaust, and various other bits and pieces... Stressing me right out, argggghhhh!
  9. Just looked on your site, some cool gear on there! Do you do sports cats at all?
  10. Well im almost finished with the paint work, sadly the heavens have opened so the rear end will have to wait! horrible weather today! but heres how she is looking now! Still got to get the wheels off and give them a good sorting out which i might do later on as i i can do them inside!
  11. As stated previously my laptop is sat on the block right now, and it is from the very top to the very bottom, and perfectly straight,.
  12. How can it have been the piston ring when it goes from the very bottom of the block to the very top, PAST the length the piston travels in the block? if something was in there it would only go the length the piston travels in the block. .In a dead straight line etc too, there is no way something in the bore has caused this. It has been verified by another engine builder too. So yeah, its kind of irrelavnt really...
  13. Well. I have the block sat right infront of me as i type this, and it is scored even further down than the stroke of the piston, so seems to me to be a machining fault.
  14. Yes mate, i have a couple, havent even finished it yet! a bit of beading after the rain last night With this one the door is polished but if you look closely you can see the marking on the 1/4 panel Spoiler before - and after yeah iddy i got my snowfoam and g3 wax on that hopefully its on an upward slope now!
  15. Thanks mate, its getting there, just yet more money to spend on stuff! its never ending! Ran out of cloths for cleaning today, so so far ive done the bonnet, pass door, roof bar, and spoiler lol, but im correcting the paint, 5 coats of polish and 5 of wax so it takes a little while!
  16. you can check the shifter cables easily enough, they join at the back of the gear box tot he right of the inlet manifold. If it crunched and stays in gear it sounds like a synchro problem, my van did the same when the synchro failed, it would go into any gear and when it did it wouldnt come out of gear!
  17. Quite a large update today peeps! It came home I picked it up last week, couldnt drive it due to it not starting, so towed it back, and been a sunday no one was around to look at it, so i had to get it home and sort it out for myself. After 3 hours poncing around i found the issue, the CTS wasnt plugged in, plugged it in and away it went So i took it for a test spin up the hill to see what my td04 and 4e went like. Gutted wasnt the word for it, it was shite. SO slow.So i parked it back on the drive and went to the pub to ponder... I spent the next couple of days pondering and then d

    So...

the cunts i work for put us at risk of redundancy, then on xmas eve sent us a letter saying - "your not getting sacked, but dont think your getting a pay rise, you xmas bonus is a job".
  19. set it to 12 which should be off, and see what it does? sounds like its wired up wrong to me
  20. Well, apparently it does affect it. Swapped the sensors over and goes a lot better. Although I still have a very quiet dump valve and although its a lot quicker it doesn't go aswell as it did on ct9 at 151.6bhp :G
  21. Pretty sure this is a zisco/malta creation, I've got pictures of it doing burns outs before running up the strip etc
  22. did a diagnostic test and is coming back with code 22 coolant temp sensor, so il replace these today as the fan is permenantly on etc, but would this affect the power would the ecu pull timing back for a cts fault?
  23. Thats not the full set either ;) I has the full set, and they are FULL of WIN.
  24. Hey Guys. So ive got my glanza back, pics to come etc... Now its running a td04 at 0.5bar boost but it is SLOOOOOOWWWWW! My standard glanza at 151.6bhp was WAY faster. Now the dump valve is really quiet and it is lumpy as hell. So what should i be looking for guys? Boost/vac leak, knock sensor? the engine was running fine when it came out of the gt, and has only since got the problems since i put it in the glanza, are any sensors different that need swapping because they would give incorrect readings? I managed to sort out most of the lumpy idling as the CTS wasnt plugged in, but even
