dont blame the connection man ill need to add a few more folk from here to mine.

as above just wonderin what a rebuilt engine is worth. talking all gaskets and seals replaced. things like pistons and rods etc would only be replaced if there was damage. just curious to see if it is worth it to buy and rebuild an engine to sell again.

little update. whole thing including oil cap and powder coating = £30 BARGAIN

used loads of wet and dry up to 1500 grit then used metal polish. its like a mirror but after a discussion in the build topic i dunno if i should have polished it up or not because it makes the airflow worse lol. looks good though. not that it will ever be seen. inlet manifolds aint the easiest os alot of cars . good luck with that

nice improvement. i looked at the after picture first and thought it couldnt have been that bad lol. i was wrong. should give it a little spray. i dont the one for my mates honda and it turned out pretty good.

lol im quite happy with the sound that it makes just now and it has the silences in it and also a bung in the backbox so if i NEED that extra noise i can take the bung out first. was talking about the silver one white one has only just begun. sooo much to do so little time. well more the money than the time lol

didnt even get it remapped for the td04 so basically when you buy it you need to remap it aswell. if i come into alot of money somehow id buy it lol. i hate the fact that he mentions things like daily driver and less lag. why the hell would you buy a td06 with was it not like 350 bhp starlet if thats what you wanted from it .

yeh think everyone would have a bit more cash lol. its crazy though how a big company will have over 1million customers all paying an average of 550 a year thats 550million and id guess even if 80 percent of them people dont make a claim thats 440million of pute intake and then you say i bought an exhaust for a couple hundred quid and they put the phone down. i mean is over 400million quid not enough profit that they not willing insure the exhaust that even if you make a claim will only make them pay out a tiny bit extra if anythin lol. sorry to add a rant to your post lol good luck with t

yep lol bit gutted its not a 5efte engine and its not mine though haha think it should be in the car in under a month. gonna get the engine bay cleaned up and all the handlin stuff painted up then stick the engine in so it can be drivin to the body shop etc:) think after i finish my engine ( may be thinkin a bit far ahead ) i might start rebuildin 4eftes and sellin them for somethin to do and make a bit o cash

another one aiming for that 100 bhp mark lol i dont think its 2 far away its just th lack of parts for the non turbo engine that make it difficult becuase you have to start making your own bits lol. yeh insurance is a bump. its gone up for people under 24 by like 26% this year aswell. gettin a bit daft money. they would be easier just saying look you cant drive then you would have loads of cash lol.

another small update. head back on vtec solonoid cleaned and painted up just waitin on the skunk 2 cam arriving and getting the rocker cover back and internals will be done with for now lol. feel bad because I've updates this more in a week than i have my thread since I've had my car but its hard to get stuff done when ya need the car everyweek lol.

why cant they just have been made the same length. another thing ill have to get done to a build i havent even started yet. would also like to know the answer to idrees's question.

lol no deal how will i get it to sit right? just bend the hangar a bit. well sounds alot quiter in the car because the noise isnt coming from the front anymore lol but sounds great with the window open.

agreed do the 4e just to push the limit a bit. as you said it need spacers to bring them wheels out a bit. look tiny when they tucked away in there lol. look forward to your updates.

fitted the decat and exhaust yesterday in the rain and it looks old already after drivin for 1 day doesnt sit right with the bumper but it will do the now lol. now for the pictures of the old downpipe lol didnt sound the greatest.

thanks for the input. stopped us goin too far in the wrong direction. didnt start the inlets so we wont bother and maybe just unmirror the exhaust lol but that will get covered in carboin soon as anyways.

hmm so basically polishin them makes it slightly worse would it put it back to normal if we were to rough it up a bit with just sandpaper. ???? its fine i wouldnt have been able to think about it otherwise haha

lol they the ones of the silver car that used to be the sleeper. took them off as was gonna put it back to standard but decided against it and gonna sell the car as is once its runnin again. the exhaust has a mega baffle in it but i think it will be stayin in becuase i use the car to take my dad to work in and you have to shout.
