  1. random question but are you the lad from the jag centre in hull?? if so you you bought my old wings!!
  2. ^^^^ it would probably do the job but you'd have to be so careful not to damage the plastic. think it would be safer to stick to good old fashioned elbow grease
  3. i got my tar and glue from a local motor factors. you could maybe use some paint thinners instead of tar and glue, obviously you would have to be careful with it, don't wanna melt your lenses!!! and as above, go easy with the heat gun
  4. yeah i read through your build thread, looks to be coming along nicely. mine has hardly changed really, couple of bits and bobs, nothing major
  5. tar and glue remover dude. soak a rag in it and soak the tape with the rag, should then be able to rub it off. or maybe warm it with a heat gun, worked when i removed decals of a mates car.
  6. no worries dude! dunno if i've been any help, just thought i'd offer my opinion would be great to see the wheels when you're finished, whatever colour you go for? you painting them yourself?
  7. you would have to be brave to pull off the pink!! can be done though (as proved in the pics) how about going pink front and green back? crazy drift stylee?! bronze is the safe bet i think, see it a lot though. go takata green, will be a lot cheaper than flourescent paint
  8. think i'll be popping down for the saturday, hoping to see a few of the cars off here in person, should be a good day. will catch you there, will be good to see the progress you've made with your car
  9. hmmm i do see what you mean about the takata green would still go flourescent though! how about flourescent orange??
  10. ^^^^ yeah dude am running a hybrid, round about 200bhp at the min. don't think i'm going for any more power, don't really need it! you going to rising sun??
  11. that was my thoughts dude, just not sure if the fittings will all be the same, don't wanna buy something that won't fit!
  12. go for a mad flourescent green, would stand out well against the black bronze would be my second choice i think. what alloys are they dude?
  13. hmmm theres gonna be some quick cars around Hull now, may have to think about upping my game........(!)
  14. just wondering if anyone knows whether this cusco arb would fit my Glanza: http://www.ukstarletclub.com/forums/index....c=41097&hl= its off lew777's ep82 but i aren't too sure whether the it would fit an ep91????? if anyone knows that would be a great help Dan
  15. for my car i use Cartec wax shampoo for the body (its 1a0 silver by the way). literally just apply it as you would any shampoo and make sure its totally rinsed off when i'm done. for the wheels i use acid free wheel cleaner (i get this from a valeting mate of mine) and it takes all manner of dirt and grime off, but it must be fully removed as it will eat the paint if its on for too long. i also make sure i leather the car down after washing. once its dry i use a glass polish to give the windows a clean, streak free finish. also use a vinyl treatment on all the plastics, tyres and rubbers, get
