Well its good of you to apologise but would have been better to not mess me around in the first place. I must have paid you for those coilovers around 2 months ago now and that just isnt acceptable especially seeing as i have requested re-funds and clarification several times surounding delivery etc. As long as i get them this week and they are in good order i won't be terse about it, however as im sure anyone can understand i am far from happy!! In future if for whatever reason something goes wrong just be honest about it or you will just end up pauuting yourself in the shit. I know this is turning into a jokey thread but i wanted to say my bit Rant over. Alex

the only major problem i get is first gear traction... if you get someone who is seriously quick right off the mark then i find it a struggle. TD04's are a right pain off the line but tend to be fun once you're heading through second and third getting looks of shere whatthehellisgoingon!!!

i bought it used from a member! But yeah its a very good clutch and fine for every day use. If you want to launch and abuse it you can do so with utter confidence

Im using a Stage 2 kit from Exedy, its a 3 puck cerametalic paddle clutch and i find it fine for road use. Its a little heavier but then the pressure plate is a lot stronger and it bites brilliantly. Once i got used to it i find it totally unobtrusive for every day use, and i would highly recommend one!

Epic handling is where it takes the starlet to school!

a late night dash across town in the starlet caused me to fall in love with it again last night! I am aware of the feel that you get with RWD, my last performance motor was an MR2 Turb... Although that did handle like cack! (rev 1)

yeah be fun to do some damage at Japfest next year at least!

Perhaps i should enjoy the winter playing with the starlet, a powerful RWD car isnt going to be great in the wet and cold! Might look at pulling 300bhp from mine over winter, enjoy the early summer in it and then look at other things

running costs?

Mines already at +200bhp and i want more... But then again something like an S14 is going to be heavier and more expensive to run and im only goig to want to mod it to bigger power. Perhaps i need to go and take one out

no not at all... The starlet has a lot going for it, Its a damn sight cheaper to run than my MR2 Turbo and a whole load of fun!

Im thinking an S14A could be the answer...
