I'll hold ya to that!! Dam right it is!!! I have plans for the future so the 5EFE has won me over at the moment.

@ Idrees, The Redline line harness pads are in our mates Punto. . Not as quick as a Starlet . And my tints got scratched when i was putting some crap in the back so they had to come off. I'll hopefully be doing them again soon. Well spotted though @ Mikey, He WILL be there. I'll make sure of it. Alex fell asleep after half an hour of travelling. Even with our mates system on.

Little update. Alex (!Rush!) has got his Starlet now so in the process of him stripping his i have aquired a few things. I have got the standard exhaust system from the mani to the start of the back box and my old back box on it. The system on mine wasn't great because the cat was goin and the middle box had been poorly cut out. All sorted now though and the car sems slightly quicker with the middle box but also slightly quieter. I have also got his interior light as for some unknown reason mine doesnt work but it does now. I've also adjusted his pipercross induction kit out of his punto to fit mine and it looks and performs perfectly. I also decided to do a full coolant change today as mine looked crap. Not exciting but thought id mention it. Next purchase is the 5efe in september so im gonna be helping Alex sorting his Starlet out until then. Oh yeah.Here is the modified to do list as im not getting the 4efte but the 5efe instead. Starter button Working - Done 21/06/2007 Horn working - Needs doing Airbag light sorting out - Needs doing Purchase of 5EFE - Needs doing New Catalatic convertor - Done 08/07/2007 5EFE conversion - Needs Doing MOT 17/10 - Needs doing Can't wait for the 5efe.

howdy again Just a few more questions on this. How do you change over the sensors? Which exhaust would you use at the front the starlet one or the paseo one? Does the Corolla inlet mani fot on in the same way? cheers guys

Right, As some of you may know i wanna change the engine in my car in the near future. I say near future i mean before MOT date which is the 17th of October. But i change my mind everyday about it. I want the 4EFTE as it's turbo power and i really want it and there are reasons that i don't need to explain aswell. But it is quite a hassle to do and the insurance is obviously more expensive than what im paying now. But recently i've been toying with the idea of a 5EFE conversion. I've been reading about it and it sounds a good swap. The reason is that it is more powerful than what im driving with now and if i wanted to turbo it at a later date i could but id have to get better internals for it. Plus i've seen a turboed 5e engine with 440bhp which sounds fun. Plus the insurance wouldn't have to know. All i need to know is which 5e engine do i use as i think there is more than one. Is this true. HEEEEEEELLLLLLPPPP

Hi all, Im just wondering if my N/A gearbox will go onto a 4EFTE without any problems or is it weaker than the turbo one???? will i also be able to use my own drive shafts. cheers for any help.
