  1. Howdy guys an gals, Im just about to set off so i'll see ya there.
  2. My SR came with 15" speedlines and ive got new wheels but the same size as they seem a perfect balance between speed and handling.
  3. Slight change of plan for me..... Don't worry im still coming but Alex can't come in his green N/A as he didn't get it as some of you know.(see the Alex had a bump topic if you want to know) He was gonna jump in mine but he has to stay at home as he isn't well. My mate Matt, who was there last time is still coming in my car. Less than 24 hours until i set off now.
  4. MMMM. Seems this may be brought back to life then.
  5. Thanks for the offer Idrees but alex wants to start completely from scratch with a completely unmolested model. The Starlet he will et is out there somewhere. he just to look harder.
  6. I also find painting it a nice touch aswell. Mine is done in mettallic black to match my car. Like so
  7. Now thats a mint site. The prices are well below what he is looking for. Cheers for that i'll show him next time i see him.
  8. Ta mate. He is looking to buy a bumped N/A in the regoin of £300-£400 pounds. He wants to make a mean machine out of one like me. The reason he wants a bumped one is because they are cheaper to buy and he can fix the up really well and cheaply as he used to work in a bodyshop. The damage can't be too bad. No chassis damage just body panels. So if anyone knows of one then give us a shout. He would prefer not to travel but he will if it's a good one.
  9. Go on give a sly mod here and there. Cheers for the comments guys. Much appreciated Ive got a few updated pics for showing it at its best right now The rear seats will be TEMPORARILY going back in so i can take two mates to the Bluewater meet but they will be going straight back out as soon as i get home Also I've replaced all the old Audio wiring for my system and put brand new stuff in. You can also see the blue wires in the engine bay. Thats an earthing kit and a voltage stabilizer. Doesn't do much except improve the flow of electricity. Makes the engine run a little sm
  10. I forgot to tell you all that Alex (!Rush!) is yet to have a Starlet. He was on the way down in a van with a trailer as i couldn't go with him and someone didn't see his trailer and hit the side of hit sending him off road. He is not hurt at all except the fact he still wants a Starlet but now has to wait as the van is to be repaired. He WILL get one eventually. He is a bit gutted about it as he was looking forward to it but his search will go on. He is gonna try and find one a bit closer to home so he doesn't have to travel far to get it. Ahwell the search continues............
  11. Your right you could get it done for less than a grand but like phil said it is something that should be done right regardless of cost rather than quick and cheaply. I'd rather spend a good amount of money knowing it's gonna work than having problems. Before i do it im gonna get everything ready to go on so it can be done smoothly. Im also taking the week off work just in case something goes wrong. I prepare for the worse in doing something like this because there is always a risk something can go wrong.
  12. OOoooooo im getting excited!!!!!!!!!!! I can't wait!!!
  13. Yep, very true. There is nothing that is gonna change my mind though as it is something i really wana do. Im saving up the money to do it all at once aswell. Im gonna take a week off work to do it all. I wanted to do it in august but because of my girlfriend persuading me to go away im looking at the region of october/November and that is being realistic.
  14. As im finding out doing the conversion is pretty expensive. Im getting the engine from a contact for around £600 but then you have to consider everything else aswell. Here is a bit of maths for you from prics i've got: £600 - Engine for the conversion £180 - New exhaust as you cant use the N/A one £35 - For the engine lift rental for 2 days £300 - Front mount intercooler as you shouldn't really have a top mount with no air scoop. A grand total of £1115 I already have all the tools for the conversion but if you have got them be prepared to add
  15. I Like Lamborghini Yellow
  16. Ah well. it was worth a try. Don't want to get anyone in trouble though so your right in saying it's best to pass on this idea.
  17. SHWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEETTTTTT!!!! Cant wait to see it painted
  18. James Bourke = Bum Ears Joke Bourkey = Ok Buyer James Robert Bourke = Jumbo to a berserker
  19. I've fitted these to many cars. I'll get photos of my work up here tomorrow. It's quite a big job to do to get the whole lot in. Fitting the headunit is pretty much like any other and slots in quite easily. It's mounting the tv equipment and PS2 and tucking the meters of wires you have that is the hard bit. If your gonna have TV i'd recommend a freeview box for your car as the standard tv is crap in a car. And for a PS2 id recommend the slim ones as they are so much easier to fit. It all looks really cool when it works and i've made so many people happy by putting this in their cars. Im n
  20. Yeah good point. We wouldn't want to get into trouble for it. I think a rule for the section must be that you have to have proof of the dealings like photos and not just that a mate said they are crap.
  21. Good idea. A sub section in there would be good. It's just so we have business to use and ones NOT to use
  22. I was nearly crying when the guy put a wheel on his mates head
  23. I think it would look pretty cool what your thinking. Im not sure about the legal side of it but it would look smart though.
