the quiet achiever

hi i`m getting ready to fit the 7-afe T/B &noticed a 3rd fitting beside the 2 water pipes on the bottom of the throttle body which is sensor controlled vacuum called idle control. i dont recall seeing this sensor or fitting on the N/A 4efeT/B body????( i haven`t got the car nearby@the moment ) do i just block it off if there is no direct connection or where would it normally connect to on the 7afe engine ?? can anyone confirm if i need it or not i have a microtech fitted so some of the idle control functions are limited thanks lyle

hi why do some forum users struggle with the concept of a polite reply to PM`S or forum requests the forum is international &just because the poster is not one of your mate`s or someone you know is not an acceptable reason to ignore them ,a polite reply is preferred rather than no response at all how do they know if you are able to help or not especially if you are offering parts for sale i have posted on occasions without reponse , if you can`t help let them/me know disgruntled forum user

hi evaded i spoke with this owner previously he returned info that lead me back to co site http://www.ikeya-f.co.jp/en/index.html i under stand that the co mod 1of their existing units to suit the starlet . from this owner i believe he acquired this unit in a group buy they are apparently expensive (unconfirmed ) sorry for jumping on your thread but i hope this is what you wanted lyle
