  1. hi i`ve been following this thread &anything else about this manifold/ T/B swap that has suddenly replaced the rolla mani/ t/b combo as the must do for a N/A starlet . i always thought the rolla mami &7afe t/b combo was largerthan the STD N/A one & same as the FTE one anyway so how does the FTE mani do it better than the corolla one apart from larger b/fly size haven`t seen any HP comparisons done b/tween the corolla one & the FTE i only managed about 6 HP on the rolla up-grade what will the fte /T/B up-grade produce ??? does any one know for sure i may have to go
  2. hi i bought a working set from the UK & fitted with head &cam/shafts didn`t get the HP increase i was led to believe was possible(current 89HP ATW) but i haven`t given up will play some more i haven`t driven it yet since tuning so cam`t even tell you what it drives like lyle

  4. hi your hub dia is 55 mm or 54mm the dis is 66mm so the spigot bush is 66mmOD &55mm ID 10mm thick lyle

  10. hi the spark plug tubes have a seal on the inside the tappet cover that they push into when cover is fitted did you put them back ?? lyle

  15. there seem`s to be a drop in vac the tuner advised that the small cone filters fitted are choking the set-up i also have a fueling issue but i don`t know what influence it had on power it seems that if you richen in 1area it leans somewhere elsew istn`t enough adj in software i`m running a microtech LT-10 do you know what gains i can expect ?? i only got 10% i need to know the critical length of runners so i can tidy up set-up i thought i would construct an airbox with trumpets i want to know what is critical in this ?? (the cone filters are so noisy when it hits the power band )
  16. hi did Joz buy a set-up from steed or is he going it alone i`ve just finished fitting a set brought from steed who originally had them fitted to a 5E-FE i believe . i acheived a miserly 10% HP gain but i have some issues with the set-up & would love to talk to someone who has a similiar set-up to compare votes lyle

  19. hi thats the wiring( the red/white) i want all the wiring that has anything to do with the no plate surround probably cut the other side of that white plug pictured with enough wire to join to existing loom i nearly missed your reply did that price inc. postage ??? lyle
  20. hi not sure on parts supply over there . but in oz calipers 2nd hand =$200 +o/haul kit $70 disc $240 pr engineering ???depends on whether you can do it your self rough guide only lyle
  21. hi josh really would like to give this a go but it looks so complex! wat do you mean by make a donut and this part :the spigot on hub &disc are different sizes so machine a donut up to centre the disc machining tip :machine to press on hub &it stays on hub when you remve disc or machine to press in make the spigot adapter to fit tight on hub or disc so if you take disc off the adapter stays on the hub or it comes offwith the disc after trial fitting new parts I found I had mis calculated the hat/offset by 3mm no biggy I just shim out the caliper to centre on disc i used a couple
  22. hi there is no modification needed it all fits on like an OEM set-up the only engineering required is a shim/ washer under caliper mount because of miscalculation in measurement &a spigot adapter to centre disc on hub does this make sense lyle
