Treated myself to a new steering wheel that I actually love as the 96 glanza one I had was naff.

  2. Mm ok cheers guys, Yeah im after it for my rep splitter but its gotta be mint really. I am well tempted to just kill a tte spoiler for one but will see what i can find until then.

Flynn. Did you put on the sticker that was on my splitter? If so where did you get it from as even that would do for now.

  3. Thought id share my daily as its becoming a little project now so rewind 2 years, I needed a daily while I forged and turbo converted my glanza rep when flicking through facebook a silver SR pops up for breaking before then being used for banger racing, I made a cheeky offer on the whole car and it was dropped off the next day. What had i bought? It had clearly had a rattle can respray at some point and looked seriously rough!

Hopefully though it should drive ok and do me for abit i thought. I knew it needed a backbox and driveshafts so after swapping these over i filled it with fuel to find the tank pissed it back out everywhere, Great. Lucky i had one spare on a glanza donor shell for my rep so swapped it over and the next morning i had a 50 mile trip to find the clutch slipped, and the wipers worked.. sometimes.

After replacing the clutch and fixing its small niggles i used the car looking above for about 18 months trouble free and then as we all know the starlet bug bit and the mods started.

from my glanza shell i took the 96 spec interior and stole some evo 7 recaros from my brother.

Outside I replaced the wings, doors and rear bumper from the glanza shell and resprayed the terrible bonnet!

Future plans are too respray both sides and bumpers, amber indicators, replace the SR graphics and then carry on using it. Im not chasing power with the N/A they are shit slow no matter what you try! Anyways thats all up till now so thanks if you actually made it this far reading all that :)

  4. from memory buddy, the 4efe is a 2 plug and the 4efte in a glanza is 3. I think some early gt's maybe had 2 however you may struggle as the wiring looms are different in the jap specs as i remember a few years back a few people trying the glanza s ecu which also uses the 4efe but apparently dont work in the uk spec. I could be totally wrong though so be good to hear if anyone knows different..
