  4. Thanks for all the kind comments guys. Means a lot I have a couple of wee updates, firstly I've fitted a up rated zisco inlet manifold with 65mm throttle body then I've painted the underside of the bonnet and the inner guards and bulkhead. There is now a glow panel fitted to the tailgate. There's a couple of other bits been done but can't remember what they are. This next thing is something I never thought I would be asking, what sort of value would I put on the car in a for sale thread? Alan

  7. cheers for all the comments guys. theres big plans for it this year im keeping them hush hush for a while just incase nothing comes of. @ Sicaln: i can remember off the top of my head will have a look tomorrow and see what it cost me and let you know. @Amjad: the gearbox is all sorted just replaced the two syncro's and built it back up. @keri: they where just pics of when the baffles where getting made it was all chemically cleaned and looking pretty before it was fitted. Did you get the pm i sent you last nite? @liam: the gearbox can hold up ok to over 300 hp, mine was running at lest 405
  8. just a quick update. i thought i had all ready uploaded these pics but mustn't of bothered my ass. this is what 400hp does to a 3rd gear: then it got treated to a lovely ECC baffled sump, competition clutches stage 4 unsprung clutch and a lovely pair of genuine bride fixed back seats and genuine takata 4 point harness's Alan

Its been a while since an update. after a very fast and entertaining drive last nite my gearbox decided to turn itself into a lovely 4speed lol. 3rd gear decided it didnt want to b part of the family and exploded lol. there will hopefully be a proper update over the next few weeks with pics.   13. i dont no dude, i've never been in a gt with a td04 lol, but it just as good if not better than the ball bearing td05 i was running. Alan
  14. cheers for the comments guys. there might not be any more things being done to the car, took her for a bit of drag racing today and the turbo oil feed decided it would rather put the oil round the turbo instead of in the turbo. on the bright side it pulled a 12.9 quarter mile thats without NOS, @sting, The spool up is unreal, theres not a lot lag for such a big turbo, i would highly recomend the turbo to anyone Alan

All i can call it is one mother of a turbo lol. i'll get the correct name of the turbo i have it written down some where lol. @ sparky, its still the same mani and down pipe its got the same layout as the td turbo's just bigger lol. will be hoping for the 400bhp mark with this baby. will find out about the middle of the week its going in for another 2 maps. 1 for the new turbo and one with a little surprise Alan
  20. I got the turbo sent away at the end of last week to turbo dynamics, got a call on Monday nite saying that the turbo is completely scrap and nothing can be saved from it and a replacement ball bearing td05 is 1700 quid plus vat. But we will see what happens in the next couple of days Alan
  21. Cheers Shaun I would say you wouldn't be the only one to slap me lol. It was a ball bearing td05 got it sent away and it can only be used as a paper weight now Alan
  22. a couple of updates first one is these lovely pieces of fiberglass arrived yesterday they are genuine livesports the second one is a bad one, the turbo has decided to destroy itself . unless i can get a turbo that can handle 1.8bar the car will be broke and the parts sold. Alan
